Only produced from 2009-2014, the Supercharged Jaguar XKR is a truly unique and exclusive automobile - simply breathtaking in looks and style with supercar performance and handling.

Styled by Jaguar's chief designer Ian Callum and inspired from the famous E-Type, its flamboyant and timeless contours envelop a clean, elegant interior where, in the finest traditions or craftsmanship, only the highest quality materials are used.

In 2015, Jaguar ceased production of the XKR.

And now at the bottom-end of their depreciation curve, smart money is snapping-up prime Supercharged XKRs as they are quickly becoming the most collectable European supercar.

Used sparingly in 6 years, the car has only covered a mere 50,756 actual, documented miles, has never left the Golden State and is one of the finest examples of its kind, anywhere.

Along with the original Owner's Manual, Warranty and Maintenance books with their factory-supplied pouch, are the original window sticker and all maintenance records since purchased at Jaguar of Mission Viejo in 2011, enlightening us to the meticulous service history of the car.

The brakes were serviced, religious oil and fluid changes performed and a new engine was installed at 47,724 miles.

Finally, we just had a California smog check performed and the big cat passed the inspection with ease.

Exterior:

The starting point of this unmistakable masterpiece is the distinctive front which pays homage to one of the marque’s icons of style, the E-Type.

XKR features chrome on its lower mesh grille.

Finished in the most desirable color,Luner Gray with Charcoal Ivory interior, Jaguar looks impressive fromany angle.

The 100% original finish still looks excellent, withonly a few minor chipsand scratches.

Its athletic lines continue to the rear LED lights that integrate perfectly with the design of the rear bumper with twin tail pipes.

On any European supercar, the state of its coachwork is at least as important as its mechanical components.

Carefully assembled by expert craftsmen at the Castle Bromwich factory, all the body seams have a smooth, "seamless" appearance.

Six years after the car was built, its body remains free of accidental damage (click the Vehicle History Report above) with sparkling finish and chrome brightwork.

Doors, hood and rear deck-lid exhibit perfect shut lines.

The majestic bonnet features vents that open like a clamshell and self-leveling xenon headlights that merge seamlessly into the line of the cat’s body.

Best of all, this California Jaguar has not been affected by corrosion, since it has not seen any harsh winters or--God forbid!--salted roads.

Another essential ingredient of a true British thoroughbred, the factory optioned 20” Nevis wheels--shod with near new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3 radials, sized 255/35R20 front and 285/30R2020 rear.

The Jaguar’s handling certainly benefits from this $5,000 wheel and tire upgrade.

With minimal curb rash and Jaguar insignia center caps, wheel detail is amazing.

Speaking of detail, surveying the cat's straight and smooth coachwork today, we marvel at every minute detail.

In fact, withlittle preparation, this fine example of the marque could be proudly displayed at a local car show or Concours d'Elegance.

Well, then, the Jaguar’s exterior is stunning to behold, but what about the passenger compartment, you may ask?

Interior:

Outpacing the World's finest cars in terms of sheer luxury, the XKR's cabin is a symphony of fine leather, piano wood and mesh aluminum trim.

Spacious yet intimate; the understated opulence underscored by the very best materials and craftsmanship.

Befitting a top-level prestige automobile, the XKR was offered in one version only: fully loaded.

Heated and cooled front seatsare 16-way adjustable with bolster settings for driver and passenger.

"Power everything" includes adaptive cruise, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, Bluetooth, 6-disk CD; the list goes on and on.

The 6-year old, black leather upholstery with contrast stitching is still soft, supple and a delight to touch and smell.

Perhaps a Jaguar weak spot, often the victim of leather shrinkage and separation from the dashtop.

When shopping for any model this age,be sureto check for this common problem as it’s not a matter of IF this is going to happen but WHEN.

Jaguar has already replaced thousands of leather dash coversfor owners who were lucky enough to discover and report this problem while inside the factory warranty period but after the warranty expires, the owner will be faced with a several thousand-dollar repair as usually, both the windshield and dash assembly must be removed to fix or replace the delaminated leather top.

Fortunately, this dash was just repaired by a qualified automobile upholsterer who deals with these Jaguars routinely.

The windshield was removed and replaced to access the leather which was expertly re-bonded back into place.

With only minor blemishingaround the left-center seam, therepair is otherwise undetectable.

Perfect piano wood with aluminum mesh accents the dash facia, control screen, center console and instrument cluster— all reinforces the knowledge that you are indeed sitting in a Jaguar.

The large touch-control screen is the access portal for the latest in entertainment, technology and navigation.

Touch-screen controls activate many of the car’s functions including dual climate adjustments, Bluetooth, phone - all in a user-friendly manner.

In the driving seat, there is a feeling of total confidence and command.

The leather wrapped, heated, power tilt/telescopic steering-wheel with auto tilt-away features buttons that operate the main multimedia functions, and sports brushed aluminum gearshift paddles.

The piano wood and contrast-stitch leather are in fabulous condition throughout, indicating that this car has indeed been garaged all its life.

The exquisite headliner presents itself in superb, unmarked condition.

Just take a close look at the black leather door panel with white contrast stitching: this is quality at the level of a Rolls Royce, the materials and care of assembly far exceeding mass-production standards.
