2014 Jaguar F-Type V8 S Convertible 2-Door Description

This is the first true sports car I've owned and I've loved every minute of it. I'm truly torn about selling but I now live full-time in CO and, with a one-car garage, I don't have space for this and it's obviously not the mostversatileor spacious of winter vehicles for someone who skis 1-2x/week. With 9.159 miles on the clock, the F-Type is barely broken in and is still under factory warranty until Summer 2017 (I believe until late July/early August but call Jag to confirm). Original sticker was $108,270 plus tax, etc.
Vehicle History. I'm the second owner of this F-Type, having purchased from an OB/GYN doc named Mark who lived in rural Illinois in September of 2015. The Jag was essentially new with only ~2,500 miles on the odometer. Mark recently had kids and was rarely able to drive it. He also had decided to go full-on hippie, ditching the Jag and his Rover LWB for a Tesla Model S and X. Somewhat ironically, I now have a Jag and Rover. In case you're curious, I'm not following in Mark's footsteps and won't be going green anytime soon. I drove it back from IL to Denver, CO, driving mostly in the mountains for a few months. In November 2015, I decided to spend more time in AZ working and drove the Jag with me to Phoenix. I drove it periodically when in town and on some weekend trips to Flagstaff and Sedona. In August of this year, my work in Phoenix was essentially done and I decided to move full-time to CO and brought the Jag with me. Though I intended to keep the F-Typeindefinitely, I'm barely driving it now. I travel a lot for work and I'm only in Denver 2-3 days a week. I'm restoring an old, 1907 craftsman and all of my driving these days seems to be to Home Depot. If I drive the Jag this little now, it will only be less in the winter. Sadly, it make sense to sell though if nobody is willing to pay a fair price at this time, I won't be too sad if I have to keep it.
The good. I love this car. I must admit that I enjoy a little flash and, even though the Jag is much more sedate than a Lambo, it gets a lot of attention. The are just not common in CO. This color combo is amazing and I get comments on it anytime I drive. It wasn't one that I was searching for but it just simply works. The Satellite Grey has a fair amount of blue in it, seen when in the direct sun but can also look dark gray on hazier days or at night. It looks sick against the cirrus (basically bone colored) seats, black trim and dash, red calipers, and carbon insert wheels. The visceral driving experience is unreal. I was considering these or 997 911 Turbos. While the Turbo is no doubt easier to drive fast, it wasn't nearly as fun. It didn't have the low-end torque. It didn't have there personality. And, of course, it didn't have the SOUND (oh, that amazingexhaustnote will be missed. So badly). Plus, the Jag is rare around Denver. Not that Turbos are common, but the 911 in some variation or another have been around forever and they are just not as distinctive and miss that flare. Now, if you get a Lava Orange GTS,..
The bad. Nothing to speak of. I've loved it overall. Minor things to consider would:Despite the $108k original sticker price, there is no back-up camera which takes some getting used to with the top up. Like all true sports car, it's low and long in the nose which resulted in a few chin spoiler scrapes on steep driveways. The trunk is a little small but I routine did weekend road trips with my wife, and she's not a light packer. On the drive back up from Phoenix, I had horrible luck and got door dinged in a hotel parking lot and noticed some wheel rash. I will have both fixed prior to sale. Despite the $1,200 Meridian sound system upgrade, I still think the audio system is weak overall. With the top up, it's probably a 6-7. With the top down, it's a 2-3. True, in a two-seat cabrio, there's only so much you can do but I did expect more.
Options. This care is very well hoooked up, only missing the Vision Pack and rear-camera as far as I know. See Options List above or window sticker for details but standouts include carbon-insert wheels, extended leather, premium paint and top colors, black pack (adds gloss black trim bits to vents and scoops), "premium' audio, Performance Pack (includes better seats, adjustable driving modess, etc.) and the climate pack (heated seats and steering wheel).
Other notables. No modifications of any kind. I did remove the front license plate mount (not required in AZ) which left some screw holes in the frontfasciabut are hard to notice and would be covered if the mount is added back. I don't know where it is though is not a special part and can get you one if you need it. I did buy a set of used Pirelli Soto Zero winter tires with 2k miles on them. I never used them myself, deciding to keep in AZ instead of drive in the COwinter, but would sell with this car for $800 for the set (originally $2,250 new). I also have a bike/ski rack from Bird Automotive. I never installed it. Honestly, when I got it, I thought it looked flimsy, a pain to install, and, frankly, ugly AF but since it was semi custom I couldn't return it. I just used my Rover when I wanted to ski or mountain bike. I would include this rack for free if the buyer is interested
That should cover it. Any additional questions, just ask! If you're in the Denver area, I'd be happy to show the car to you and would encourage test drives for serious and qualified buyers. If you buy sight unseen and decide it's not for you after the transaction is closed, no problem, though unless it's for a true issue (e.g., asignificanterror in the listing that I didn't catch), I would have to keep your deposit to cover the opportunity cost of passing up other buyers, relisting, and inconvenience of all of that.
