NO RESERVE Jaguar XJS, CHEVY 350 SWAP 700R4 TRANS and 18' car hauler COMBO
1987 Jaguar XJS COUPE Description
NO RESERVE auction for another one of my projects. This a 1987 Jaguar XJS originally a V12, but something told me it would be cooler and more dependable with a Chevy 350 and a 700R4 transmission. So I bought a premium conversion kit (cost me just under $3000) that included a bigger radiator, braces and brackets for the new motor and trans, hoses, wiring harness, new springs (need to be installed), exhaust manifold, diagrams and more. I had new exhaust system installed (tips on the side under the door as seen in the picture). Summit racing carb and air cleaner also installed as you can see I cut a hole in the hood for better fitment. Push start and fuel pump feed buttons installed It will need a new engine fan blade. The motor came off of a 1995 Chevy van. I had it disassembled, pressure-checked and resurfaced the heads, installed a new gasket set. The trans I had from a previous project, so I had it rebuilt and put in. Both motor and trans were painted grey.
I have two rebuilt heads for the original V12, stock radiator and the original trans that I can include for a few extra dollars.
I was correct, much cooler this way. It sounds awesome too. I had plans to paint it and put new carpet in, but with too many toys I lost interest and it's time for someone to take advantage of the deal I'm offering and enjoy this ride fully.
The trailer pictured and part of the listing is a 2000, 18' hauler. I bought it to haul my toys around. VIN is 2MN01JAH8Y1004626. I'm not sure what make as the title doesn't show it either. I had the trailer completely rewired, new led lights all around. I installed the tool box in the front, which also houses the brand new winch. The winch also has a remote for easier operation. I had an axle installed with electric brakes as well. It will need tires before it hits the road, but nothing else.
Feel free to call/text 3124048177 or email me with questions or requests.
I have clear Illinois titles for both vehicles. Both being sold in AS-IS condition. I prefer cash upon pickup, but bank wire and certified check would also be accepted. I can assist with shipping, but the service would need to be arranged and paid for by the buyer. $500 immediate deposit required upon auction's end and full payment within 24 hours there after. Buyers with feedback 10 or under will not be allowed and will have their bids cancelled.
The combo is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
Good luck!
