1996 Jaguar XJS Convertible
This was my beautiful last generation and last year of production mint condition XJS.I bought it from Florida- It it absolutely rust free and was garage kept until the incident.
The car was T-boned a while back. The Drive-train is still in immaculate condition.
It has the last gen and most reliable4.0LAJ16I6engine with 232 HP, 4 speed auto transmission and the size of the axleand rear limited slip differential in immense. Pure racing pedigree.
The driver side door was smashed in. The panel and seat survived. The Frame is straight and the rocker panel survived. The door not so much. The Rear quarter panel is severelymisplaced from impact. Both left windows busted.
Electronics still work. The car starts and drives straight and around the block without issues. The Airbags did not deploy. The top goes up and down.
The woodwork in this car is absolutely immaculate! It's the reason I bought it. Just gorgeouswithout leakage or sun damage. Rare Wood steering wheel and gear knob.This is the absolute last year of the XJS with new AC/Dash vents, new interior, new rear and front bumper compared to '95 and previous years.
This project would make for a perfect racing car / track day compilation or parts car as parts do not come cheep.
All the bits are there, if you see missing trim in pics it's in the trunk.The pictures speak for themselves.
Have a clean Indiana title. I don't believethe car was reported condemned.Extremely low reserve !
