2004 Jaguar XJ8 XJ Description

2004 XJ8, with really nice exterior and interior condition. There are no rips or tears or damage to the interior. I bought this car off of lease back in 2009 with 20,000 miles on itfor my wife and it has been an outstanding daily driver that I'm going to be hard pressed to replace. It has a clear title in my wife's name ready to sign and go. The only thing I ever did to this car was change the oil and filter and air filter. I also changed the front disc brakes and the water pump. I did have the head liner replaced about a year ago and it looks first class. Unfortunately the guy broke the plastic rail for the sunroof guide inside the roof on the passenger side. The roof still works but you have to "guide" it shut if you use it. I'm not a sun roof guy so I don't miss it but you would have to fix it if you want to use it.It has a couple of warning lights on as it does need some items repaired. The "Parking Brake Fault" light came on a few days ago for no apparent reason. It doesn't affect driving at all. The "Air Suspension Fault" light came on some time back but the ride is ok although it seems a bit low at times. You can hear the compressor pump up but it is probably time to replace the air pump or repair whatever is wrong. The tires have about 1/3 life left and the spare is the original Michelin Pilot on an immaculate rim. Next time I put tires on I was going to put the spare rim on the ground as the left rear rim is getting a lot of visible road rash. The air conditioning is cold, the CD player worksand none of the speakers are blown. All the windows work as well as the seats. They and the steering wheel are heated. Overall the exterior isin great original condition except for the rear bumper paint in one spot where a young girl tagged me at a stoplight. No real damage but I have attached a picture showing the cracking in the paint n the top center of the bumper. Both fog light lens are broken and I've replaced them before but with the freeway driving down here and the rocks thrown up, I haven't replaced them anymore. They need new lenses. I believe you can drive this car home wherever that may be and not have any problems but I'm selling this car"as is, where is" due to the conditions I have described. The Registration tags and Inspection in Texas are good until the end of 2017, I just replaced them and had the car inspected. I installed new windshield wipers and Ijust installed a brand new battery. There is no warranty what so ever and I believe the low reserve price on this car reflects the repairs you may have to do. It's a great car that needs a new home. You can pay by wire transfer or cash in hand. Funds will have to clear before car leaves the grounds.
