My wife got herself this beauty in March, 2016.We live in Dallas, however due to work transfer, we are now moving to NY - where as you know space is a premium. We have 3 cars and unfortunately this one has to go.
As this is a 36 month lease, we were surprised to find out that the leasing company, does not allow lease transfers! I've had a M3 previously, and never had such issues what so ever. Anyways - our only option is to purchase the car outright and then resell etc...
I would prefer to sell it privately even at a loss, instead of flogging it to a dealership who will wash the car and sell it 25k above trade in price.
The car is listed on swapalease.com, " SAL ID 1084547". I am prepared to incentivizeinterested party by throwing in $12k cash down. So - as of today (Jan 29th), the outright purchase amount is $80, 263.04. Iwill throw in $12k and the sale price will then be $68, 263.04 if the car is reregistered in Dallas, Texas. According to Chase, there is a slightly different settlement price for out of state registrations. We can always evaluate once a serious buyer provides all the necessary paperwork and fund securities..
