Original cost in 2001 was about $60K!
The body is in very good shape with the exception of a dent on the front fender by the headlight. Paint only has typical use flaws, no major scratches or fade. Some clear peel on the hood, very hard to see. Its a small spot towards the pass headlight.
The interior is also in good shape, with some cracking on the drivers seat bottom being the only real flaw.
These cars are an absolute dream to drive, I've had several XJ8s and the road manners are fantastic, a very quiet smooth ride with plenty of power when you put your foot down.
The car DOES NEED WORK.
It will need the dent on the front fender repaired (if you would like)
It MAY also need a battery, this one may come back with use.
The main problem with the car, and why its being sold so cheap is that it has gearbox flaw code. It does drive and will move on its own but this MUST be addressed to use everyday. I feels like it is starting in 2nd or 3rd not first gear. It does not have the pickup from 0 that it should. It could be a very simple fix, like a sensor, but how you see it is exactly how we got it. We have not done any work to it or even washed it. It is being sold for a wholesaler, in wholesale condition. Understand that it will need work. It should not be driven long distances until its looked over.
