2001 Jaguar XJR Description

2001 Jaguar XJR with only 60200 miles!!! I am moving out of the country for work and sadly need to sell. Car runs amazing and has served me amazingly well I will really miss this car it has been a joy to own. I purchased from the man who managed the owner’s estate. The owner used for cross country trips. I have owned the car for 1 ½ years and have kept up with all the maintenance.

Engine, Transmission & Drive Train:

Engine runs great never had any problems. I had the belts replaced when I first got the car and replaced the power steering pump due to a leak. I had a radiator hose replaced due to a leak mechanic said all the other hoses looked fine. It runs extremely strong and is incredibly fast. The transmission shifts great and never given me any concern. The shifter is slightly off my mechanic said this is a common problem. It does not affect the driving but R is slightly above where it should be. It never bothered me so I never got it fixed. I had new rotors and pads put on the car when I purchased and they only have 8000 miles on them. Car stops extremely well.

Interior:

Interior is in great shape no tears in the leather. the passenger side seat movement stopped working a month ago I had my mechanic look at it and he said it was a faulty switch I purchased the new switch but have not installed it. The headline is sagging in the rear I had pinned it up an planned on having it fixed but forgot about it once it was pinned. Heated seats work. Sunroof works.

Body:

Body on this car is in good shape but paint is showing its age. The pictures look better than the car does. There is no dam age but bumpers are starting to crack. Paint has some scratches on hood and some spots on the body. It looks great from 7ft away but when you get close up you start to see the problems. No rust. The trunk was hit in a parking lot and replaced with a xj6 trunk. There is 100% no damage to frame or another body parts. It fits perfect but the badges say xj6 it was painted it looks ok but not great. Also the drives side mirror was replace because the motor stopped working. It is replaced with an xj6 mirror it fits but is a different shape than the other. Only if you are the driver would you ever notice.
