It's basically a Long wheelbase Vanden Plas with the Supercharged XJR motor dropped in and nearly all optional equipment standard.
This was Jaguars answer to the long wheelbase V12 Luxury Liners such as the Mercedes S600, BMW 760Li and Audi A8 W12. At over $90k, this was the most expensive and exclusive Jaguar sedan ever produced up until that point. They were $14k more than a Vanden Plas and $19k more than an XJR.
It carries all the features of the Vanden Plas along with every piece of optional equipment including Navigation, Rear DVD System, Extended Back Seat, Picnic Tray Tables, Premium Leather w/ Walnut Inlays, Rear Sunshade, Separate Rear AC System, Alpine Sound, Backup Sensors, Chrome mirrors and mesh grille.
