2004 Jaguar XJR Description

I purchased this Jaguar when it was 3 years old and was a trade in at local Jag dealership, I have driven daily for the last 8 years, this high performance luxury vehicle still looks like new inside, just had a paint job as original black paint had gone flat on roof and hood. This is the first of the Jaguars made by Ford so many of the parts are very cheap, and almost everything can now be found on Ebay at reasonable prices, I just spent almost $5,000 fixing an oil leak where the engine had to be removed, so did a major overhaul and replace all belts, hoses, tensioners, radiator, catalytic convertors, and had the internals checked along with timing chains and no wear was evident. In the past few years I have upgraded the suspension from un-reliable air shocks to Coil over shocks, rides just as well but no expensive repairs needed, also had transmission replaced with a rebuilt ZF transmission, brakes have been upgraded to drilled rotors and factory brembo calipers with fairly new pads, power steering pump was just replaced this month. As you can see a lot of work has been done, and this is a British luxury vehicle with all that comes with it ( owned by a Brit ) probably too much money has been spent on it already, but she is ready for a new home, I have no room left to park her so she has to go, this car is probably worth $10-12K just in parts - and I have a low reserve if someone want to part her out, but would love to see her continue her service as a highway cruiser, this is a $100,000 car available for the price of an old Toyota! This car has tinted windows and the A/C runs cold, leather seats are in great condition, has adaptive cruise control ( you set the speed and it accelerates and brakes as needed ) large screen navigation has updated DVD 2009 version, 6 disk CD changer and audio input from ipod or phone, and AV inputs on rear AV control panel. 2004 Jaguar is an all aluminum body so is very light and economical for a big car, I get 18-20mpg around town and 25+ mpg on the road, also comes with factory 20" Sepang alloy wheels, tires are about 1 year old but low mileage, this is still my favorite car, but had to move to an SUV so she has to find a new home.
