2004 Jaguar XJ8: Glacier White over Beige Leather, Fully Loaded
For sale is my 2004 Jaguar XJ8 sedan. I have owned the car for nearly 3 years and it has been an absolute blast to drive. Classic looks, a reliable 4.2L V8 engine, effortless power delivery and a top notch interior are just some of the benefits of owning this car. Everything in the vehicle is in working condition; you will not find another XJ that has been this well cared for.
A few highlights:
-$75K MSRP when new ($95,000 in today’s money)
-Special ordered from the factory with nearly every available option
-Texas car since new (means NO rust or corrosion)
-Always kept under cover, never driven in bad weather
-Personally invested over $8K in preventative maintenance during my ownership (fully documented, receipts will be included with the vehicle)
-Upgraded Arnott coil suspension with lifetime warranty (much better than the problematic factory air suspension. Google Jaguar/Land Rover air suspension and you’ll know Arnott is the way to go)
-Custom color-matched Italian Alcantara ultrasuede headliner
-Ceramic tint (better than factory, will NEVER bubble, peel or turn purple)
-Real stainless steel mesh grille (I can also include the factory plastic grille if desired)
-“R” style red wheel center caps
-Brand new battery
-Clear title, no accidents
Too many factory options to list but some of the big ones are special-ordered Glacier White exterior paint ($2,000 factory option), full leather seats, genuine burl walnut wood trim, power everything, sliding/tilting glass sunroof, Xenon HID headlights, LED tail lamps, 3-zone climate control, heated front & rear seats, 12-speaker Alpine sound system with subwoofer, 6-disc CD changer, navigation system, 18” alloy wheels, parking sensors and the famous Jaguar “leaper” hood ornament.
Car starts every time and runs like new; paint and brightwork are excellent. The 5-speed automatic transmission shifts flawlessly and the 300HP V8 engine is solid. Turn on sport mode and it’s even better. The car is all-aluminum, making it very fast yet also economical for its size (I average about 27 MPG on the highway). This big cat is very spacious and great for road trips or just cruising around town. It’s a head turner as well; you’ll get stares, thumbs up, and “nice car!” comments every time you leave the house.
This car was my daily driver for 2 years, but since buying another Jag last May has only been driven around 2-3 times a month as a weekend car. I will be moving to NYC in a few months and won’t have room for both cars, which is the only reason I’m selling. I’ve put the necessary maintenance into this car to ensure that it will last for years to come and judging by the values of vintage Jaguars today, this car is on pace to be a classic. Check out the 180+ photos below and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule a test drive.
Vehicle is located in Austin, TX; shipping is available at buyer's expense. Car is sold AS-IS, with no warranty written or implied.
