1980 jeep cj7 Wolverine
1980 Jeep CJ Wolverine Description
A Jeep with a rumble seat! This 1980 Jeep CJ - 7 Wolverine is in original factory condition. It was made for the Montana area and is rumored to be one of 5 used in the making of the movie Red Dawn. This Jeep CJ - 7 has leather interior, hard top, soft top, removable doors and original paint. The original leather seats are under the neoprene seat covers that you see now. The seats need to be reupholstered. The rest of the interior is in good condition.I got this Jeep from a ranchers field and have somewhat restored it. The paint is original with dings and scrapes. The front edge of the passenger's front fender is bent. The EGR and Vapor control systems have been disabled. If you need to pass DEQ inspection, you'll need to get new hoses and reconnect the systems.
My restoration has been focused on the driveability of the Jeep. Over the past two years I have installed new battery, tires, shocks, mounting bushings, steering stabilizer, fuel sender and fuel gauge. I installed a new JEEP brand windshield, spendy. I have perfected the electrical grounds so all lighting and electrical systems work good. I have cleaned the High Desert dust and dirt from under and inside, under I found a perfectly preserved Jeep undercoating and paint. We have VERY low humidity up here at 3800 feet.
It runs great, has all gauges working normally and the 4 wheel drive is perfect. The original clock is keeping good time. The original Jeep Owner's Manual is in the glovebox.
I have modified it by adding an awesome surround stereo that plays SD cards. This truck turns heads everywhere it goes. Good luck on the bidding.
