1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Description

This is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4X4 Selec Trac, 4.0L 6-Cylinder engine, and 4-speed Automatic Transmission. Single owner and located in Northern Virginia since its purchase in 1997. The Jeep has 191,304 miles, it has been well-cared for and a maintenance log is available.
This was my daily driver and all systems were working well (transmission, four-wheel drive, etc) until it developed a loud ticking sound in the engine that turned out to be a broken piston skirt on the #1 cylinder. The engine runs and can be driven, but it has about 15 miles of driving with this piston skirt issue. An engine can continue to be driven with a broken piston skirt, but it will eventually deteriorate ... thus replacement of the piston or putting in a used engine is what is needed.
In addition to the piston issue, the ABS module is not working, and there is a cosmetic ding on the rear hatch door.
