Has up for auction a one-of-A-kind 1988 Jeep Comanche Laredo 4x4 total survivor with only 14,459 original documented miles!

This amazing vehicle looks and drives like brand new. Never ever saw a drop of rain. Always since new was kept in a climate controlled garage. Everything including the tires are original to the truck. The factory chalk markings are all clearly visible under the hood and on the underside. This was a special ordered vehicle back in 1988 by its original owner of 26 years. He sold it to a relative in March of last year.

The build date was December of 1987 and the tire date code equates to April of 1987. And what makes the truck even more are three specific options; Dealer installed trailer hitch, special order “Cordovan Hunter’s Plaid” seating & special order headrest. He also special ordered the dealer installed tanneau cover. You’ll never see these options on any other Comanche. The original owner preferred not to add air conditioning but did order every other possible option offered that year.

Rather than going into a detailed description of the cosmetics let me simply say that this is a 100%, ten out of ten truck that looks and performs like it virtually drove off the assembly line in 1988. Not even a hint of a blemish anywhere. That includes the interior.

The underside is pretty much perfect. Not even road soil nor surface rust. The powerful 4.0 Ltr inline six runs smooth and quiet. The “Command Trac” automatic transmission shifts effortlessly through all the gears.

Needless to say the vehicle drives like brand new. Never smoked in and still has the hint of new car smell.

The vehicle comes with all its original documentation including the original manual and window sticker that shows all the options. Sticker price with all the options $15,524.
