Hi, I am putting up my red Jeep for sale. To be frank, I purchased it not too long ago and inherited a car with some problems that if I would have known up front, I would not have continued with the purchase. In any case, what's done is done and now maybe my loss is your gain! It's not completely under my name, due to a faded title and so the DMV is requesting a copy of the title. However, this not something I want to invest more time in acquiring so it is something I want to make clear for anyone interested.
The issues that I know of are:
-Leaking catalytic converter and needs to be replaced
-The engine cannot start due to coolant entering the engine. I was told by a mechanic that the headers would need to be replaced to fix the issue.
-Front and rear windshields aren't currently functioning
-The horn isn't functioning
-It is absent of and needs new airbags
-There is a clicking noise coming from the rear when braking
I have recently:
-Changed the engine oil and filter
-Had new spark plugs and Oxygen sensors installed
-New water pump installed
-New headlights and headlight set installed
-Rear trunk and rear glass lift struts replaced
-Replace both rear brake disc pads and calipers
Outside: 8/10
Inside: 8/10
While it was running, it did so just fine and had no problems with the engine itself. The car otherwise functions properly. I am asking $4000, but of course with the car being in the state that it is, I am open to offers. I leave the shipping of the vehicle in the hands of the buyer. Email or text work best for, otherwise leave a message if I can't readily answer your call. Thanks!
