Today up for your consideration is a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. 3.8L V-6, and 6 speed manual transmission. It is Showing 77,771 miles. I don't want to sell the Jeep, but I rarely drive it so I just can’t justify having it anymore.I bought this Jeep2 years ago and on average only drove it to dinner once or twice a month at most, aside from that the only time it wasever drivenwason our annual trip to Durango Colorado where we would use it to take thequite easy Alpine Loop tour. I never wheeled it hard, all the trails we ever took were just really forest roads. All of my friends actually always gave me crap asking why I bought it and never really drove it. I am just very OCD about my vehicles and never wanted to mess it up, so it just stayed locked up in the garage.
Last year I installed the RIPP Gen2 supercharger kit on it. Stock the Jeep needed a bit more power, nowthe supercharger added close to 100hp and now it feels and drives like it should. On the highway it will hold 75-80mph on cruise control just fine. On our trips to Durango every time I would look in the mirror my friends in their Cherokees and stock JK’s were way back because the other Jeeps just didn't have the power that mine did especially at the higher elevations. It has the strongfactory Dana 44 front and rear axles. The transfer caseithas isthe4.0:1 ratio so driving in4 lowis a blast, and very easy!
To the Jeep I have added----------
--Ripp Gen2Supercharger Kit
--Custom machined for this Jeep a 6061 aluminum oil mist separator
--Metal Cloak front bumper, with bull bar
--Warn 10S 10,000LB winch with synthetic line (it has never been used aside from spooling the line in when new)
--Factor 55 Pro Link
--D-rings with vibration isolaters
--Rigid Industries LED lights on the bumper
--Teraflex rock rails
--3" SkyJacker lift
--33" Nitto Trail Grappler A/Ttires, roughly 60% tread remaining
--New battery a few months ago
--Improved aftermarketexhaust manifold to replace the factory unit that is known for cracks
--New main driveshaft boot
--Soft top that can be put on instead of the hard top (see pics, both tops are included)
--2 programmers
--Door and wheel locks
--Lube Locker differential seals (that are reusable)
--All fully synthetic oils
--New spark plug wires
--Black OEM Jeepgrill, the original silver grill will also be included
--New OEM clear fog lamps
--New OEM clear turn signals
--Daystar center top dash panel (original included)
--Jeep brand deep channel floor mats front and rear
--Window tint
Overall the Jeep is in very good condition. There are very few light scratches, and the body is very straight. I ran the Carfax before I bought it and it came back clean, with no damage history, there is still no damage. The interior is clean with no rips or stainsto any of the fabric. The dash is still shiny and has no cracks. The heat and AC work great. The stereo and speakers all work great. The Ridged Industries LED bumper lights are not hooked up but the factory harness to do so is included. I was going to wire them into an Spod switch panel, but never got around to it and did not want to drill the dash for the switch just to hook them up.
The only issues with the Jeep---------
--The front sway bar disconnectwas not working whenI bought it. It is a very common item to fail. Most guys just put in the manual disconnect kit for around $75.00 I was going to do it, but never did since I figured I would never need to disconnect it for the type pf driving I did with it.
--The light on the dash says that the front axle locker is not engaging, but a buddy looked at it and said it was actually locked when I went up a hill. I have not pulled it apart so not sure if that's a switch or what is going on there. The rear axle locker works just fine and the indicatorlight comes on as it should.
--The power lock for the left rearpassenger door does not work.
As for asking price----Blue book is showing between $19,688 and $21,125 I think that its condition puts it roughly in the middle of that. I have well over $11,000 in upgrades on it so I think that $27,500 is a fair price.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or would like more pictures, I have a ton of pics I can send you. If you have any questions please ask. THANKS for looking!!!!
