1998 Jeep Cherokee SE Sport Utility 4-Door Description

This auction is for a rare 5 speed Jeep Cherokee with low miles. With only 103 thousand miles there are many of miles left for this one to be driven. This truck has gone through a 3 month revamp for it to look like you see it today. Please read the entire listing before you bid. The exterior Emerald Pearl Metallic paint of the Jeep was just cut and polished to have an excellent shine and reflection. While the paint is original and very eye catching it does have a few flaws which are to be expected with an 18 yr old truck. There is slight paint checking on the hood, was going to put flat black vinyl wrap on it but it’s just not that bad and don’t want to cover up the true condition like others do on here. The Jeep has a few added goodies on it like the custom built cargo carrier made from 1 inch square tubing, ½ inch square tubing, and pressed steel. It is strong enough to hold the full size spare, Brand New Jerry can, and Hi-Lift jack. The rack also houses 1 of the two LED light bars. It is equipped with two light bars one is the 40 inch mounted on afore mentioned cargo rack and the other is a 30 inch mounted on the front bumper. No problem seeing at night when out riding on the beach. The flairs, bumpers and bumper end caps were painted the body color for a much cleaner look. The rear bumper has been done in color matching spay on bed liner to stop all the typical scratches of loading and unloading in the rear cargo area. Now about the mechanicals and drive train, this truck only has 103k original miles and is in excellent condition. The 5 speed transmission shifts through all gears with no strange noises or pop outs. It has brand new muffler and tailpipe. All fluids have been changed with Amsoil products. The lift is an Iron Rock Offroad fixed long arm lift. It is a 5.5 lift with 2 inch Daystar spacers in front and 2 inch Terraflex shackles in the rear, so the Jeep is lifted 7.5 inches. The shocks are the best available Old Man Emu nitro shocks. The sway bar disconnects are the JKS quick disconnects. With the 7.7 inch lift it needed the Synergy stainless extended brake lines. Also it has the Iron Rock Offroad adjustable track bar. All this lift was necessary to clear the massive 325/50-20 Pro-Comp tires. The tires are wrapped around a 20x12 Dropstar DS11 wheels. No expense was spared when this truck was done a few years back. And as stated earlier there is a full size spare mounted on the cargo rack. The interior of this truck looks like an 18 month old truck instead of an 18 year old truck. The truck is equipped with power windows, locks, and privacy glass. The truck has an aftermarket CD player and updated speakers. The carpet will be protected with the factory floor mats when it is picked up; they are just not shown in the pictures. The carpet and seats are in excellent condition with no major flaws, or cracks that everyone hides in their pictures. The headliner has been redone with the correct factory material. No this is not a Jeep that just has a lot of parts thrown on it and called a custom, this is a Jeep that was hand assembled and attention to detail was paid to each and every piece.
