2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Description

This 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee has been fanatically maintained since new, first by its original owner in Virginia, where the car lived until 2014, and then by me here in Detroit.
Here’s what’s wrong with this car: NOTHING.
Here’s what this car needs to be a reliable daily driver: NOTHING.
Here’s what you’ll spend to get it pass the most rigorous state inspection: NOTHING.
Last month, I took the Jeep back to the dealer for the trailer hitch install, and while it was there I had $1,000 in preventive maintenance done. That service included:
-- Cooling system flush and thermostat replacement
-- Four-wheel drive service, which includes changing all the oils and fluids in the driveline, lubricating the chassis.
-- New serpentine belt.
-- Complete inspection.
-- Brake service, two all new MOPAR front rotors and MOPAR front brake pads were installed, same as when it left the factory. We don’t roll on Chinese replacement parts. The original factory parts cost more, of course, but they are better, safer and will last longer.
Four new tires were installed at Firestone. American-made tires. We don’t roll on Chinese anything, even though Chinese components are cheaper, I won’t gamble with my safety.
-- All four shocks were replaced in 2014. (Monroe)
-- All the hydraulic struts for the tailgate and the hood were replaced. (MOPAR).
-- All six fuel injectors were replaced with the upgraded 4-hole Bosch injectors last year. The Jeep has a bit more pep in its step and gets slightly better fuel economy.
-- The oil has been changed twice a year with Amsoil 100 percent synthetic -- which I believe is the best oil money can buy. Again, not the cheapest, but the best. The previous owner was also very fanatical about oil changes. He did them every 3,000 miles. My Jeep gets less than 12,000 miles per year, so I change the oil once in the spring and once in the fall.
And finally: After 16 years, the driver’s seat foam was a little soft. I found the very last factory replacement seat cushion (complete with match new matching upholstery) left in the galaxy, bought it from a Jeep dealer in Connecticut and had it installed at the Jeep dealer here.
The dash has no cracks.
The upholstery has no tears.
There are a few minor dings here and there, but the paint is not broken.
There is NO RUST.
Let me repeat that: NO RUST.
This Jeep has never been smoked in.
You won't find a better classic Grand Cherokee Laredo with these low original miles and in this condition for less money anywhere else.
This is the one.
