This auction is for a 1979 Jeep CJ7 Renegade that is all original with just 18,941 miles. As you can see in the pictures Jeep still retains its original paint and interior (not restored). I bought this Jeep awhile back from the second owner and it was in a storage building (see picture). The story behind Jeep is it was sold new in 1979 to a Mr A.S. Gear from South Hill VA, he kept Jeep garaged and drove it only 15,000 miles before he passed away in 1999. His wife sold the Jeep to second owner in June of 2000 who only put a little over 3500 miles on it and it was garaged kept the whole time. I have all books, warranty card and inspection receipts with mileage on it to confirm mileage. I also have talked with the widow of original owner who verified mileage to be correct. This Jeep is well equipped with the V-8 304 and 3 speed manual transmission, it also has the Levi package. As I stated before Jeep still has its original paint, seats, and canvas top that came on it new. This Jeep was under coated at dealer when sold new and is in like new condition. I have taken several pictures of floor pans with the carpet removed soyoucan see the condition of the floor pans (they look like brand new). The only rust issue is 2 small spots on rear lower seam (see picture) this is from 2 body panels that over lap with no primer applied from factory and would be very easy to fix, I chose to leave it original for next buyer to see. I have just had Jeep serviced and rebuilt the carburetor and it runs and drives like brand new. Now for terms of sale. Buyer agrees to send a $300.00 deposit at end of auction and pay balance with in 10 days of close of auction. I have the original VA title from widow but Jeep has a current Georgia registration on it now. The state of Georgia does notrequiretitles for vehicles 1985 and older so second owner did not acquire one. I have had several emails with questions I thought I would answer. The decals on jeep are original and have not been replaced. The top is the original Whitco and also has not been replaced. I do not have the original windshield painted hinges they were change out when jeep was new along with mirrors. I have added a picture of spare tire and it is original and has never been mounted. The original jack and pouch are mounted in floor still in the original pouch. all lights, turn signal, horn, and gauges are in working condition..
