1985 Jeep CJ Description

1985 Jeep CJ10a 1-ton truck. Factory Diesel engine (33SD 6 cylinder Nissan engine) Equipped with glow plug starting and block heater. This vehicle originally was a military vehicle. Because of this, all steering and suspension components are heavy-duty and bigger than what would be expected on a Jeep. It had a full off-frame restoration, starting with a complete paint of the body and frame and all suspension components. No bondo. Installed new floor pans. 3-speed automatic transmission, torque flite 727, single speed transfer case (NP208), Dana 44 front axle, wheel base 110", boxed frame from front to rear axle, removable hard top and tilt-down windshield, power steering and brakes, 34,000 original miles. Replaced all the following items new: shocks, tires, (33 x 12.5), disassembled front axle and inspected gear conditions, installed new wheel bearings, seals, rotors, wheel studs and nuts, calipers and pads. New steel-braided brake hoses, rear axle disassembled and inspected gears, installed new brake tubing and hose, new wheel cylinders, spring kits, brake shoes, drums. Cut and balanced drive line, installed new U-joints, and transfer case output shaft seal. Installed new fuel sender and hoses and 20 gallon fuel tank. All new filters and fluids. Sand blasted all wheels and paint.Fabricate new 6ft truck bed. Installed side stack exhaust. 2 new 1000 CCA batteries. New engine belts. All new exterior light fixtures. 2 new highback seats and new seat belts both sides. New exterior driver and passenger side new door seals. New wiper arms and blades. All wheel alignment. Interior is all original gauges in proper working order. I did not refinish the interior, however I did rhino- line the floor. New door handles. High-power off road auxiliary lights. Heat and defrost works very well. This vehicle has never been in mud, or treated roughly. The wheel tracks are off set for better off-road performance.The restoration is fresh- only been driving about a month. Jeep is street legal and does well on road while maintaining its full off-road potential. The only problem with this vehicle is it needs rear park brake cables. Due to gearing and transmission top speed is 60/65. Has manual locking Warn hubs.vin# 3V0TA24XXEM000787
