1995 Jeep Cherokee Description

Up for sale is a blue Jeep Cherokee. It is a 1995, right hand drive postal Jeep. As you can see from the pictures, it comes with the magnets already on the doors, they wouldn't come off. It comes with a spare wheel cover that shows it to be a Postal vehicle. Inside comes with a CD player, A/C that blows cold, heater works great, Factory RHD steering, a wooden storage above the passenger seat that is out of the way. It also has a multiple JVC- CD changer on the wooden storage tray but I didn't ever use it, wasn't sure how, plus there is a small wooden storage box in the back. It has a magnetic flap door, perfect for storage of jumper cables or tools. It also has had the transmission rebuilt here in Austin, and a great smooth quiet running 4.0 six cylinder engine. Hoses, belts and brakes have all been replaced within the last year or so, all filters new, tires are in good shape, there are anti theft locks on all 5 wheels. The back passenger door(the left back door), doesn't open. Don't have time to fix it but think a clip is broken inside, a mechanic can fix it. Transmission is still under transferrable warranty until December 30, 2016, it had a full overhaul, $3,000. plus cost. There is an extra transmission cooler installed by the transmission shop located behind the grill and in front of the radiator.

There is a repaired area between the hood and grille top area, this was like this when we got it, doesn't look great but still functions well, it is in one picture for you to see.

She gets 20 m.p.g. on my route, better on the highway, very dependable. She is 21 years old, has scratches, dents,a small chip from a rock on the passenger windshield, paint on the hood has lost the clear coat, or oxidized, also some on the top front, there is no rust. Mileage is 127,480.converted, the factory gauges are in kilometers, this vehicles was imported to the U.S., and has a few stickers I left on that are still in Japanese. Plus there is a small emergency flare on the passenger side,(don't know if it works, I never tried it, but it's yours if you buy the Jeep. We have owned it for 9 years, it has been a great vehicle, has the factory jack and mounted spare, motor does not smoke or use oil, the 4.0 high output engine is a well designed workhorse, oil and filter changed every 3,000, miles.

The title is clear and in my name. The vehicle will befull of gas before you pick it up, and is route ready, or ready to be driven anywhere you like, tags are still good thru July, she is smooth on the highway too and very quiet. Also, she is a great off road vehicle if you decide that is what she is going to do in her next life, 4x4 works great, used it a few times when the rains got heavy down here, it worked like a charm and got me out of the mud.

If you are expecting a pristine vehicle, this is not your Jeep, again she is 21 years old, well loved, and she is finally legal!
