Selling 1985 Jeep CJ7 Factory Wide track CJ gives greater stability and handling on and off road. It’s the good factory boxed frame CJ built for for strength and durability. Note- The older and later CJ frames were only 3 sided frames making them not as strong as the later boxed framed CJ. This Jeep CJ has the factory tough, durable, and unbeatable (fully boxed frame). This Jeep is an excellent example of a classic vehicle that has been lovingly restored and re-conditioned to be reliable and comfortable for every day use if required of it. The Jeep has the reliable and proven 4.2 liter 6 cly motor that runs and performs outstanding. Very nice soun, solid running motor! No oil leaks, No rattles, No smoke, No oil burn. The motor is backed by a smooth shifting and quiet Jeep T5 - 5 speed manual transmission with great syncros that makes it fun to drive. = SEE VIDEO! You drive this Jeep = Not it drive you! Dana 30 front end and 4 by 4 locking hubs for bad weather driving or off road adventure you point it at. Jeep comes with a tow bar if you want to tow it behind your truck or RV. But Jeep will drive to your adventure also! The transfer case allows for 4 wheel high, 4 wheel low, and 2 wheel high, letting you traverse any terrain imaginable. The 5 speed manual transmission allows for the 4.2 liter motor to perform fantastic either around town, off road, or on the highway. Great transmission and gearing for pavement and off road driving. The engine compartment and underside of this Jeep have also been cleaned and detailed (SEE PHOTOS) along with all the nooks and crannies from front to rear inside and out . Jeep has Full Hard Doors with window glass that rolls up and down. Full Hard Top with glass window's making it a (great years round driver). Both the doors and the top lock with key. The hard top gives better insulation in the winter, and the ability to carry a snow load if you live in a cold weather or snow state. The heater will cook you out = if on high setting. In good weather, you can remove both hard top and hard doors and have the classic no top open air Jeep experience. The top was finished in a black Raptor armor a 2-part epoxy, which also helps to deaden sound, and provides an armor type durable finish for years of use. The exterior of the Jeep was ( Just painted) in the classic color of Hot Rod black. This is not a rattle can paint job, it is a durable automotive paint finish and is also UV protective. Nice paint and people love the color of this Jeep! The rear diamond plate is not hiding rust or damage! It was installed years ago and left on Jeep when painted -gives it that true Jeep off road look. The body on this truck is solid, old fashioned good "American steel" and RUST FREE. The fenders haven't been cut out or molested, and body tub, pans, hood, tailgate are clean and rust free and fit like a glove. The black top, black doors, and black paint give this Jeep an aggressive, off-road look. Jeep was not lifted high off the ground and heavy springs not installed under it. I wanted it to retain a very comfortable and forgiving ride, both on and off road and not ride like a log truck! . The 31x10.5x15 all-terrain tires are a great tire for both on and off road use. The Inside of Jeep was finished with new out of box, black Best top high back bucket seats. ( Both front seats) will tilt forward for rear passengers in and out. The TILT STEERING and adjustable driver seat gives you extra leg room for any size driver. A locking center console allows you to stow sensitive items, and provides cup holders in the front and rear. There is a CD/MP3/Aux input stereo with two speakers mounted in the rear that sounds very nice.= SEE VIDEO! The inside floor pans finished in Raptor Armor to keep them water proof and scuff free for many years to come. The dash and smaller items inside also detailed and painted. (IT's SANITARY ) The heater works on all 3 speeds, the wipers work on both speeds and park correct. The dash lights work, and dim correctly.
