I am selling my 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ.
The engine and transmission is as follows:
Completely rebuilt with Mahle Pistons (+.10)
Reconditioned heads with new valve springs
Mild Comp Cams Hydraulic roller
New full roller rockers and custom pushrods, New Roller lifters
All new O-rings and seals,
The motor is from a 2003 Cadillac Escalade so it is a cast iron block with aluminum heads,
I replaced the ugly truck intake with a Z06 intake from a 2003 Corvette,
New alternator, Edelbrock Performance water pump, Power Steering pump and AC Compressor,
The transmission is a 4L60E from the same Escalade, It has been rebuilt and the output shaft was replaced with a
Novak Conversions shaft and adaptor. It bolts directly to the stock Jeep NP231 transfer case which has a super short conversion.
The truck has:
Custom ECM Tune, New Speartech Harness, Novak Radiator with Spal Fan and shroud,
Trans cooler with fan and braided lines, Custom Coated Headers, Custom Exhaust
I am sure I've missed more then a few things but basically everything is new.
The Rest:
3.5 inch lift with 33 inch Goodyear Duratracs
RS 9000 Shocks, Adjustable upper control arms and HD lowers,
Currie Correctlync steering, Currie Fabricated Ford 9 Inch Rear with Willwood Disc Brakes,
TrueTrac Auto Locking Rear Carrier with 4:10 Gears (at 70mph the Jeep is at 2000 RPM)
Gen Right 25 Gallon aluminum gas tank with HD skid plate with new Walbro pump
Braided fuel lines with inline fuel filter
All new SS brake lines and extended braided hoses
New Bestop sailcloth soft top
This Jeep is my daily driver. I am not a huge off road fan but it has been off pavement a few times.
There isn't a part on this vehicle that hasn't been touched. I took the interior out, cleaned and painted the floors with POR-15 and
installed Bed Rug carpets.
There is way too much to list here so if you have any questions please ask. I am the owner and I built the Jeep with help from
a friend with a speed shop. I've been in the auto industry for 30 years and this is my third eight cylinder Jeep conversion. I am selling
this one to fund my next project which will be a Hemi powered JK.
