2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Description
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Ryan and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one on my no reserve auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms and Conditions BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. It is finished in silver with black interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with the age and mileage. On this specific vehicle, there is a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with the age and mileage. On this specific vehicle, there is a few stone chips, dent on the tailgate and a rust bubble or two on the rear fenders. Other than those few things the body is in pretty good shape. The silver finish shines nicely and the body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory wheels show nicely and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all the way around. Please take the time to check out each of the photos.
I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. The cloth seats show well with little wear and are supple and comfortable. The drivers seat is power operated but the slider sticks. The windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is the original AM/FM radio and CD/Cassette player that sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater blows hot. It's a little cold out to feel if the AC is working as it should. The cargo area is clean. This Jeep also comes with the mopar roof rack. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Grand Cherokee.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The optional 4.7L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine dose not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels good but could use a set of bushings at some point. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. The engine makes good power and it is smooth as silk. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The 4.8L V8 is a great engine. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Because this Jeep has the optional 4.7L V8, it has the heavy duty Dana44 axles. The 4WD is tested and working properly. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
