2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4
2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Description
Third owner with title in hand. 144k+ miles but meticulously cared for by myself since assuming ownership. Everything works and is in excellent running condition with no leaks. A copy of the Carfax is available upon request.
- New Goodyear Fortera tires on all four wheels with less than 10k miles on them. I purchased the warranty and it is transferrable (I think). I also had all new tire pressure monitoring sensors installed since the batteries in the old sensors were going dead (lifespan of 10 years, so it was time anyways).
- I completely rebuilt the brakes at 130k miles with new rotors and pads, including parking brake shoes, which were known to be defective from the factory.
- At 120k miles, I replaced the transmission fluid, along with the two internal filters (one for the transmission itself and the filter for the external transmission fluid cooler). At this same interval, I replaced the fluids in the transfer case and both differentials.
- Just changed the oil and filter at 144k. I change every 5000k miles per the manufacturer's recommended service interval.
- Both existing recalls complete (PCM reflash and ignition cylinder replaced)
- Full set of working key fobs
- All equipment (i.e., manual, jack, spare tire, tools) present
- K&N drop in filter installed at ~120k miles
- New battery at ~130k miles
- Rockford Fosgate single channel amp installed under driver's seat and installed with quality -4 gauge wiring. Ready to throw your 2 ohm subwoofer on and rock out. The Alpine head unit still powers the stock Harmon Kardon sound system just fine so a sub isn't necessary.
- Towing package, tinted front windows, HomeLink system, Power sunroof, power seats (both driver and passenger), heated seats, auto dimming rear view mirror and driver's side mirror, power adjustable pedals, dual climate control, rear parking warning system, power mirrors, seat memory system, cruise control, rear A/C and heat vents, fog lamps, etc, etc.
- Carfax reports structural damage on left front side with second owner. The driver's side door is ever so slightly a different shade of silver but is barely noticeable. Since I've owned the vehicle, I haven't noticed anything negative as a result.
- Some curb rash and cracked air inlet on lower passenger side bumper (see pic). It's underneath line of sight and I didn't even notice it until after I bought the vehicle.
- The driver's side seat material is cracked. Hasn't gotten any worse in the past 25k miles.
