1991 Jeep Cherokee Description

Jeep Cherokee Laredo with only 86, 145 miles. Great shape, and certainly one of the last great Jeep Cherokees with this low of miles!
Here is the story.I bought this Jeep about 2 years ago from the estate of the original owner.A local retired gentleman purchased this Jeep new to pull behind his motor-home. It does have the draw bar hitch points installed, and wired for tow vehicle to operate the Jeep's lights. I do now know how long this Jeep was used as a tow vehicle. At some point the owners wife's health declined and they stopped traveling. At that point the Jeep was not driven much.
I bought this Jeep about 2 years ago from the estate of the original owner.A local retired gentleman purchased this Jeep new to pull behind his motor-home. At some point the owners wife's health declined and they stopped traveling, during this period the Jeep was not used much. A few years later she did passed away. At that point he drove it himself as a second vehicle locally. He passed away a few years ago, and I bought this Jeep from his estate. I never met him, so can only tell the story his kids gave me. In any case, he took good care of this Jeep, it stayed inside most of it's life and is in good shape. I bought the jeep at ~80,000 and put only about 6,000 miles on it in 2 years. At this point it is just another vehicle, and it could use someone more passionate about Jeeps to own and love it than me.
Cherokee Laredo with 4.0 Liter, auto transmission and part-time 4wd transfer case.
Tires are good, about 80%
Has power windows, doors and drivers seat
Receiver hitch and wiring installed
Luggage rack
Rear wiper and defrost
AC works good and is still R12 as far as I can tell.
All brakes are new. This was done prior to me buying as it had sat and a few things got rusty. New calipers, pads, rotors, drums, shoes, brake lines, all brake parts.
I changed fluid in differentials and transfer case, along with transmission and filter. All looked good, nothing unusual came out.
I replaced water pump and flushed radiator really good. That was gummy and needed a good flushing. Took a bit to get the water to move good through heater core and look clean.
The aluminum wheels need to be refinished. They are in fine shape, but do need some serious buffing and refinishing.Struts for rear hatch do not hold up door anymore. I did not replace these.Power antenna does not go up and down any more. It is stuck up. There is some surface rust on this Jeep. Where rocks chipped paint and a few spots paint was getting weak bits of surface rust have started. Nothing bad, and certainly nothing rusted through. Both rocker panels are solid, but do have some surface rust. The next owner should take the time to repair surface rust and clean up paint. If that were done this Jeep would be a great vehicle for many, many years to come.
