2005 Jeep Wrangler Rocky Mountain Description

Starts at $1.00 - NO RESERVE!! This is it. Gotta let go. Up for grabs is my silver 2005 Jeep Wrangler. This is one of the very few "toy" cars I've ever owned. Bought it just for the fun of having a Jeep. Besides, it is one of 6 vehicles at home. Just don't have the time for them all and I hate seeing it collect dust. It hasonly occasionally been my "daily driver", thus the very LOW miles on this vehicle for it's age. I wouldn't even say I've played hard in it. It has been on my back property trails and off road on occasion, but nothing extreme or beyond its capabilities. It is a Rocky Mountain Edition TJ, a specialtrimpackage produced from 2003 - 2005. It comes equipped with a Mercedes-sourced manual 6-spd transmission, a premium sound system (like the acoustics of soft-top Jeep are good for that), and upgraded, Jeep logoupholstery. The engine is the tried and true 4.0Linline six common to a lot of Jeeps. Some other upgrades to make it more "Jeepy": K&N air filter, under hood air compressor (sorry, no lockers - yet!), about a 2" lift, beefy tires/wheels, fancy front and rear bumper assemblies, side rocker guards. Cool stuff. It has the original soft top, very snug and weather tight, but I will point out the rear window zipper has pulled apart on one lower side; I just keep it pinned together. The top is in such overall good condition I never felt the window zipper was worth replacing it for. Besides, half the time I rode around with the top stripped off anyway! It's a Jeep! It has good cold AC, but another flaw common to Jeeps - two steps on the fan speed knob don't work. Seems to me I ordered that part... if I find it, it goes with it! The overall body, doors, etc are in great condition. A few light scuffs here and there, but as pics show, in pretty good shape overall. The interior is also in good shape. I had a rain fly over the Jeep one summer in Utah that dripped water onto the front seats and left little water mark stains. Made me mad; never tried anything to scrub them out. There are some nice, heavy duty mats on the floor. No engine or drive train fluid leaks. Runs great; four wheel drive works great. I put in a new battery only because I killed the one and only one I've ever had in it just from sitting around too much! Tires still have lots of meat left.
Now, about that title... this Jeep is one of 3 Jeeps I own, all of which have a Missouri "Prior Salvage" title. There's a pic there showing them all. I know thiswill be a "flag" and will affect the value, but like the guy who sold this Jeep to me said, you'd be hard pressed to figure out just exactly what was repaired. Honestly, the vehicle is in excellent physical condition. So, factor that into your bid. For a bargain price, this Jeep will make a great second-car"driver", a fun toy,or a terrific base for some killer rock crawler machine you've always wanted to build. It's a solid Jeep - just like the other ones I own and drive. And let's face it, it's a Jeep. Probably a lot easier torebuild than a regular car. So anyway, that brings me to price: just what is a 2005 "salvage" Jeep worth?? I have no clue; don't even want to bother with any research. I'm going to leave the question of value up to you! So this auction boldly starts at ONE DOLLAR, with NO RESERVE! So $10, $100, $1000... whatever, YOU tell me what it's worth. (This drives the gf crazy, but, hey, I'm keeping the yellow Jeep for her since itis an automatic, and I'll let eBay determine the market value on the silver one!)Local pickup only, but I'll be happy to help load onto any transport you may provide.I'm looking for $500 deposit via Paypal at end of auction. Balance due at time of pick up.Paypal or cash only; no checks! The vehicle is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS, no warranty. If you arrive and find the Jeep not in the condition as described, we'll shake hands, part ways, and I'll move on to the next bidder. So there you have it. When you start an eBay auction itemfor $1.00, it for certain gets sold! So flag this auction, watch it, put in your best bid, and hold on for the bargain! Thanks for your interest - good luck with your bid!
