2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo
2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Description
Bought Jeep 2 years ago and fixed up the Jeep and maintained it to its current condition. I took it in the shop in Mobile, AL to have it inspected when purchased not expecting of what I needed to fix up on it. I had to have all 4 rotors, calipers and brake pads replaced. The starter replaced, starter switch replaced, alternator replaced, battery replaced, A/C did not work when I bought it but had it fixed as well. Replaced heater core, A/C condenser, A/C lines, radiator replaced, all four struts replaced, right rear window electric motor replaced. Put on seat covers when I bought the Jeep (not that the seats were damaged but for comfortability) and sealed off the sunroof as it did leak. I duct-taped around the sunroof to prevent further leaking from the roof. The engine and transmission are in perfect working order with no issues. This thing is all fixed up pretty much even though it may seem like a lot that I had to fix on it. I dumped at least $3,000 to get it to where it is today. My wife drove it for 2 years to her work to and from with no issues. It runs great, A/C blows cold air (which is vital in South Alabama), tires are only a few years old. No major scratches on the paint and no door dings either. I also installed Halo projector LED headlights and tail-lights as the stock ones were going bad. They were about $400 total, which I also forked over. Even though you may think the price is high, understand of how much I put into the vehicle to get it to this point, I would say looking at everything that was replaced it can make it a lot more miles. We are selling due to adopting another vehicle which we have to pay payments on so that brings our vehicle status to 3. We want to get our vehicles down to 2. Plus have twin baby boys and opted for a newer/safer vehicle as well. I am transparent about the vehicle as I would of liked to have been treated the same way when I bought it.
