2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Description

Edit: The format does not come through well on mobile format and just looks like a jumbled mess. Two addendums to my original listing: 1. 2 of the 4 wheels are perfect with no scratches or anything, not sure why I put all four had something on them. 2. the wheels also have the updated 2015 model SRT center caps as compared to the Jeep logos on the 2014's and earlier. Was out of town this weekend and didn't get up interior pictures. In the meantime, the interior is an easy 8.5-9/10. I also deleted the option to have have it professionally detailed as he has a 4 week wait plus a one week application time so that would be 5 weeks+ till you get the car. I will personally do a claybar detail on it before the sale to make up for this. For sale is a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT that has about 51k miles on it. It is black on black with all available options with the exception of the rear entertainment package. The vehicle was originally purchased back in 2014 as a CPO and with that, I purchased the MOPAR Extended Warranty that covers it for 7 years / 100k miles. This is transferable to the next buyer and expires towards the end of 2020, I believe. This warranty was purchased for about $1900 which is nothing compared to a third party warranty cost. The only reason for selling the Jeep is that my wife and I need a larger vehicle with a growing family of kids and dogs. For the purposes of clarity, I will list all features and such in a list form. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact me. The title is currently held by USAA and having sold my previous car on eBay, I will assist a new buyer with the process to ensure everything goes as smooth as possible. To ensure that there is no confusion about what is or what is not included, I will list everything out in bullet form: Year: 2014 Make: Grand Cherokee Trim: SRT Exterior Color: Black Pearl Interior Color: Black Leather with the Suede inserts OEM Options: Panoramic Roof and Harmon Kardon Stereo Wheels: Yokohama AVS with about 8k miles, rotated every 3.5k miles Brakes: Front are Hawk Ceramic pads and OEM replacement rotors with about 10k miles Rear are full oem and have about 20% life left, only pads are needed Mats: 3 sets are included: OEM carpet, OEM all weather with trunk liner, Lloyd's Custom Premium Carpet with SRT logo on all front and rear Modifications: Injen Cold Air Intake, helps decrease ambient intake temps by around 10 degrees Jeep front badge removed, Grand Cherokee side badges removed at 20k miles for a cleaner look, SRT badge added on drivers side bottom grill to mimic the look of the Challengers. I get tons of compliments on the clean look of Jeep with the badges removed except for the subtle SRT badges. Catch-can: Black to match the basic look of the engine bay; if not sure of what a catch can, a quick google search will help. It is a mod approved by Mopar to help improve engine life. This has been on since about 2k miles after I bought the vehicle and service at two Jeep dealers has not been an issue. Warranty: Has the factory 5 year / 100k powertrain and will also include the 7 year / 100k Mopar warranty that can be transferred to the next buyer. It cannot be transferred more than once, just FYI. Paperwork and Keys: All books and manuals along with the original window sticker and both keys are included. History of the Jeep: I have owned this since 08/2014 and have loved it very much. It has been garaged each night and has seen snow a handful of times. The roads in our area are great and during my ownership has never been in or around city roads. Oil changes done as recommended every 6k with Mobil 1 full synthetic. The Yoko tires I have found to be the best alternative to the stupid run flats on the stock. Had Toyo tires for about 8k miles and they were awful. The exterior of the car has some very mild signs of use from normal driving on the front bumper. There are no scratches, gouges, large touch ups, etc. I wash this car every week by hand and use a spray wax at the same time. It is hand waxed once every 6 weeks and clay barred at the end of winter and after the initial part of spring when all the pollen is mostly done with. The inside is very well maintained with some bolster wear and a couple superficial scratches on the center console where the dash is. Full disclosure: While I have never raced the Jeep against anyone and it has never been to the track, I do enjoy accelerating in it. The fastest 0-60 time is 3.9 in freezing cold (2 F) weather with an average in the 4.2-4.3 range with normal 70 air temps. As most people who know me, I am usually the guy in the fast vehicle, driving in the slow lane but getting to the speed limit quickly. The only significant flaw on the entire vehicle is the driver's side wheel got scratched up the single time I ran it through a car wash. I am always hesitant to use them and this confirmed my anxiety. Prior to our new addition to the family, I had made plans to just powdercoat the wheels when my next tire change comes around. All of the wheels have some marks, nearly all of them by the first owner. From a couple feet away all of the wheels look great but the one you can tell from about 2-3 feet the marks I am referring to. When viewing the pictures, please keep in mind that these were taken with a cell phone camera without any special effects or special lighting that is often found throughout a professional listing. The paint is exceptional and is soft / slick to the touch. I tried to provide views of the panels as I would look at them for imperfections. I apologize about the look from the passenger side as it is quite 'washed out' in color due to the sun's position that morning. There is a paint imperfection which is present on the back tailgate. You have to look very hard to find and it is very small. Jeep is well known for their poor quality control on paint and a simple good search will yield much worse examples. Most people put WK2 paint jobs in the 8/10 range, I would give this about a 8.5/10. Also, keep in mind that the pictures are not just taken for this listing, the car is always this clean with the exceptions of rainy days. If you have any questions or would like to view the car in person, please message me. Back in 2014 I sold my C63 on eBay in the 40k range and had an excellent transaction with the buyer. I hope to repeat that same process this time around. When selling the C63 it was around $600 for shipping from VA to TX and took 2 days. Just as a reference if you are not a local buyer. The only reason for selling is that daycare is expensive as hell and for the benefit of our family I need to cut an expense somewhere. So more of a people mover with less speed is the flavor of the year :) If you need any additional pictures please ask! I want you to be comfortable with the car and have zero areas of grey. Full disclosure on my part and a committed buyer will make both parties happy. I will get some interior pictures of tonight or tomorrow. A relatively small deposit of $250 is required within 24 hours and then full payment through certified funds provided to USAA within 7 days. Please note that the mileage will change slightly as this is my daily driver. Once sold I will put it in the garage until delivery / pick-up and find another way around.
