1983 Jeep Cherokee Description

Up for auction is a 1983 jeep cherokee chief. I bought it three or four years ago to restore but my oldest son really liked it so I gave it to him after going through it mechanically. He is out of school now and interested in something newer. I am not as keen on restoring old jeeps as I used to be so here it is.
Body - as you can see from the pictures the body is very solid. There are some rust spots here and there. Front bumper is bent and the front right corner is dented. The paint is kind of thin on the hood and very oxidised overall. The interior is in exellent condition. The carpet is just a few years old. Headliner, seats and dash are all very nice. The AC does not work but it is all there. All the window work but the passenger side is slow even though I have replaced the motor.
Engine and drive train - The motor runs very well. It does have a slight hesitation when the engine is warm enough to not need the choke but not fully warmed up and sometimes there is a slight exhoust leak that I have not been able to chase down. The four wheel drive works well. The tires look to be in very good shape but a freind of mine who looked it over says the left rear tire has a not in it. I can not see it but thought I should mention it since he said it was there. The engine leaks a little oil, looks like it is comming from the front and back of the motor as well as the valve covers. I will add about 1/2 a quart of oil every six months or so. The jeep is only driven about 2000 miles a year. New within the last few years is the batery, starter, ignition switch, alternator, starter, brakes, radiator and hoses.
Terms - a $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions end. If you come to pick up the jeep and believe that I have misrepresented it I will return your deposit. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. I will not arrange shipping but I will gladly work with your shipper. The jeep is being sold as is where is FOB Johnson City, TN. I would like for the jeep to be picked up within two weeks of the auctions end. By bidding you are agreeing to these terms.
I forgot to mention that the gas tank vent valve seals located on top of the tank are leaking. if you fill the tank full you will smell gas as it sloshes past the vent valves. I have new vent valves and seal to fix this but have not had time to pull the tank. Also the tank has a new sending unit which is off a little bit. when the gauge is on empty you still have about 1/3 of a tank left.
