2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Description

Welcome to my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. This Wrangler has been my daily driver for my work. My need for more towing capacity is moving me up to a full size truck. This Wrangler is in immaculate condition top to bottom. In my work I frequently travel on logging roads, so I added several 1/4" steel skid plates to protect drive train components as shown in the photos. The Wrangler was factory equipped with the Freedom hard top, however I added the Mopar/Bestop soft top as shown in photos. I swapped the hard top to soft in the spring, and back to hard top for winter. The exterior / interior color combination of Dune/Dark Saddle was a hard find with Rubicon equipped Wrangler 4-doors. The Rubicon package offers several upgrades for heavy off-road driving, including front and rear Dana 44 lockers, sway bar disconnect among others, however my use has never encountered any abusive off-road conditions. At least 90% of the miles I have put on the Wrangler have been on-highway miles. Note in photos that the original factory BF Goodrich A/T tires look almost new. I bought a set of Michelin MS/2s shortly after purchasing the Wrangler, because the A/T tires road noise was a little hard to handle, especially when the soft top is on. After wearing them out I just recently replaced them with the factory tires, so the successful buyer will get the benefit of having only about 10,000 miles on these tires. One of the most practical upgrades I added are the detent door stops, which keep the doors in one of 3 open positions, allowing you to load and unload without the common annoyance of doors closing on your hands or legs. The door stops operate just like any other vehicle, and the addition of a slightly longer door check strap allows the doors to be fully opened and stay open until you complete loading or unloading. I came to prefer the black plastic fenders rather than the paint matched, because they are stone chip resistant. The Wrangler was factory equipped with rock rails, however I found them to be more like rock-catchers, so I removed them in favor of some nice step rails, which allow debris to fall through rather than get stuck between the body and the rails. Swapping the tops is quite easy and can be done in about 30 minutes once you have completed it a couple of times. The soft top is complete with all hardware to install, and I always kept the soft top windows rolled up in the paper and box they were shipped with for protection during off season storage. I'm a stickler for proper maintenance, with engine oil changes every 10K miles using only Mobil 1 full synthetic oil. I changed air filters at every oil change. Also a plus is that I have oil sample history on the engine every 5K miles, transmission samples every 10K miles, and front & rear differential samples every 25K miles. I have all the lab reports starting from before the first oil change, and a complete service log and will be happy to share that with any serious buyer. Fluid sampling is like a blood sample for your vehicle, and good insurance in case of any lube related problem. The sample history on this vehicle is 100% clean and perfect, and proven in the lab reports. Since this vehicle remains my daily driver until sold, the actual mileage at the time of sale may be more than as listed here.
