1969 Jeep CJ Description

Original 30,790 miles and original paint. 2nd owner. Dauntless 225 V6 engine converted to Pertronix electronic ignition with performance coil. Carburetor rebuilt and adjusted by specialist. Rebuilt to high output alternator and starter. Borg Warner T-14A (full synchro) transmission with Spicer 18 transfer case all coupled with the Warn manual overdrive. New clutch assembly and drive line components. New steering box and steering shaft with heavy duty tie rod. Mint correct steering wheel. New front differential D30F 4.88 gears with Detroit Locker. Rear end is a factory Dana 44. New S/J 4" lift kit with Bilstein shocks. Set up to handle 33-12.50-15 tires. New brakes, master cylinder and wheel cylinders. Entire frame was inspected and improved. Delta Xenon headlights. New directional signal lever and wiring. Soft top with doors and a bikini top. Soft top needs sewing but I planned on a new one. Comes with rear swing away tire rack which holds two gas cans. The original genuine owner's manual is still in the glove box in excellent condition. Also included is the factory service manual in excellent condition. Haynes repair manual and two more Jeep service manuals, see photo. I even have Dealership sales brochures and factory paint sample sheets. Factory tune-up and wiring sheets and even an original Kaiser Jeep Corporation Public Relations release. There are so many more things done. Obviously it needs more cosmetic and accessory attention. I've done the high dollar stuff and now it needs the fun stuff like tires and a winch. I do things right or not at all. You can enjoy my loss without the high cost of doing these things yourself. Rotted tires need to be replaced and this could be a daily driver. It purrs so nice. I'm a member of the Red Rock 4Wheelers in Moab, Utah. I was making this a very special and dependable Jeep with a "wow factor". Surgery has forced me to sell this Gem to get a Jeep with automatic transmission and power steering. I'm in the San Diego area. Dave at 619 985-8691
