1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ Description

Hello and thanks for viewing our 1996 Jeep Cherokee. This vehicle is equipped with the legendary 4.0 inline 6 cylinder engine. It has 4 wheel drive and a automatic transmission. We purchased the truck from a local municipality that has owned it since brand new in 1995. The vehicle was used for parking enforcement so it was driven very lightly and has very low miles. After the truck was done with its daily dutie, it was stored indoors over night so there is no rust on the vehicle as it was garage kept since 95. The maintenance was done regularly on the vehicle. Oil was always changed and the truck was extremely well taken care of mechanically. There is no rust anywhere on the body or undercarriage. There is no rot anywhere on the truck whatsoever. The truck is almost perfect cosmetically, it is more then 20 years old and is in better condition then most newer vehicles. The seats and carpets are in beautiful condition. There are no rips or stains anywhere on them. The truck came in almost perfect mechanically, some minor things were needed but we went over the whole truck and replaced them. We put 4 new shock, new wire, new plug, new distributor, new complete exhaust with new cat. 4 brand new cooper tires, and new wiper blades. I will say it again, this is one of the nicest pre 97 XJs I've come across in 25+ years in the business.This is a great truck and another bonus is that it's over 20 years old and can be registered as a historic auto.
