1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited Description

I bought this Jeep over 2 1/2 years ago in New Hampshire at 149,000 miles. It was originally sold in British Columbia Canada to a customer in Washington State. The gauges are calibrated in metric but the speedometer in in MPH so nothing to worry about. I have a carfax from the last owner to verify where and when it has lived its whole life. I was specifically looking for this model due to the one year only 5.9 engine option which includes full leather interior and heavy duty 46re transmission and Dana 44 rear with factory Trac Lock. I love this jeep and I have updated many parts since buying it. The transmission was professionally rebuilt at 169,000 miles.
A list of new parts with in the last 1,000 miles include both front wheel bearings, upper and lower ball joints on both sides, new rotors and pads on the front, spark plug wires, valve cover gaskets, thermostat, upper and inner intake manifold gaskets. (These engines can leak internally causing oil to disappear, it hasn't used any oil since this repair.) I only ever used synthetic oil and the internal valley looks great for 192,000 miles. No check engine lights on!
I have replaced shocks, and sway bar links since I have owned it but its been awhile now and I can't remember exactly when I did it but they are still in good shape. Everything works except the rear E-brakes. I have no idea why so assume the worst but never bothered me. The A/C may need a charge. The driver's side electric lock switch won't unlock the doors so I just lean over and use the passenger side switch to unlock doors. The sunroof opens and closes slowly so I don't use it other than tipping up the rear glass which works great.
I was upgrading the Jeep for our planned family vacation to Yellowstone but we got a deal on a new car for my wife so this one has to go. I would drive it anywhere with out a second thought. It is comfortable and has plenty of room for kids and gear yet is small enough to park anywhere. I am going to miss it but it is time for someone else to enjoy it.
