2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Description

VERY GOOD shape for it's mileage! This was our family vehicle for years and has served us well! It is pretty much loaded with Quadra-Drive II Off-Road package and Trailer Towing Package. We got a vibration last winter and I was told by a Chrysler mechanic the transfer case clutch packs were shot because of uneven tire pressures. I replaced the transfer case with one from a 93K vehicle, rebuilt the front CV joint and replaced the electric locker solenoid in the rear axle with new transfer case and rear axle fluid. The vibration is still there! I now find out the front pinion bearing is shot. I don't have the tools or a lift to drop the front axle and set-up the gears and it is expensive to have a shop do it.
If you are handy or a mechanic, this is a bargain! Fix it for the cost of a differential rebuild kit and some labor and sell it for a few thousand dollars profit or keep it for yourself! Would also make a great off-road toy with a lift and tires ... might as well re-gear it while you have the front axle tore down!
Vehicle will need to be towed home and not driven. A dolly would work since transfer case can be put in neutral and issue is the front axle.
Other than the axle, everything works as it should! Starts and runs great with no other problems!
Feel free to come inspect it before bidding but no test drives other than driving around the driveway as I don't want the damage to get worse.
