1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the nearly 100 photos and read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V8 with just 175k miles. The Jeep Grand Cherokee needs no introduction. It is one of the most popular SUV's of all time and has an excellent reputation for rugged construction, reliability and capability. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in white with gray cladding over optional gray leather interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you 'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around this old Jeep. The white finish shines nicely for it's age. There are a few chips and imperfections here and there but nothing horrible. The finish shines nicely and looks as smooth as glass. All of the cladding and trim are present and show well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. The only body rust I noticed was under the hatch and a door bottom or two. Again, not bad for the age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please check each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Grand Cherokee looks. I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards show well for their age. The carpets show a few marks and some wear but are in good condition for their age. The dash and headliner are clean. The leather seats are soft, supple and comfortable. The seats show virtually no wear. The back two windows do not go down. The fronts work fine, as well as the power locks, mirrors and seats. The audio system sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. I can hear the compressor kick on and off so it probably just needs charged. The little plastic piece around the shifter is missing, as you can see from the photos. Again, please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Grand Cherokee appears to be in good running and driving condition. The optional 5.2L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Although the engine does not visibly smoke, it does smell like it burn a little bit of oil...which is normal at this age. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. Please keep in mind that this is an old Jeep and they all feel somewhat floaty in the front end. That's just how they are. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. Other than an ABS light, there have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The engine makes good power and feels strong. She hits the road nice and straight. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally with zero issues. Out on the highway, she cruises easily with no complaints. This Jeep has the Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system. When I got this Jeep, the front prop shaft was sitting in the rear cargo area, as you can see in the photos. I don't hear any whining or any grinding coming from the front end. It's most likely that the previous owner removed it in an attempt to save on fuel economy. I've seen that done quite a bit. I will include the prop shaft. At some point before winter, you'll probably want to crawl under and hook it up to see what you've got. Until then, it drives just fine the way it is. You just have to use the parking brake when you park it. If you're looking for an older Jeep that hasn't been all used up and abused, this clean 1994 deserves a close look. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
