1989 Jeep Wrangler Description

I had a mechanic look at Jeep, he says that there is a miss in the upper valve train. He stated that the Jeep can still be test driven. I had him check the frame also, mechanic states frame is very good, no signs of rot.

1989 Jeep Wrangler, in my opinion in good shape for a 1989. 4WD works, Jeep has been lifted, but I do not know how much. Jeep has MaxisBuckshot Mudders on it,35X12.50 R15LT, lots of tread left. no spare but have spare tire carrier. Replaced steering column a couple years ago.

Hashard top with hard doors, also soft doors that can be used as half or full doors. Bikini top that I never used, not sure if all parts are there for it. Jeep looks really good with top off and black half doors on it. Picture with top off is a few years old, onlypicture of itI had with it that way. Hard top is on it now.

Stuff that could be done to it, grinds a little between 2nd and 3rd gear, was told it needs synchronizers,never bothered me, if you shift at right rpm it does not grind. Mirrors on hard doors are gone. Has drivers mirror on Jeep body.Sway bar on drivers front is unhooked, never caused me any problems as I never used off road.Could use new muffler.Tailpipe will rattle if on rough road, needs hangers and clamps on it, does not rattle on highway. Front seats are ok but could use new ones, they lean back some.No key for hard doors.
