2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport Description

2000 Jeep Sport XJ Cherokee with approx 152k mikes. This vehicle has been in our family for the last decade and has been very good to us. It has had regular maintenance and oil changes. It has been inspected recently and has PA state inspection good to 8/18. My youngest is the enthusiast who has transformed this vehicle and here is a list of parts and upgrades that are recent in the last 18 months.

-3.5 inch Rubicon express super-flex suspension lift kit

-Rubicon express upper and lower control arms

-Rubicon Express track bar

-Rubicon Express steering stabilizer

-5 quadratech rims with 31x10.5x15 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires. Less than 3k miles on them.

-3M matte black vinyl wrap, done by my son, looks great but has some wrinkles from fender flare and handle movement, see photos for close-ups.

-Rugged ridge fender flares

-Custom made front and rear bumpers with a 30 inch lightbar in the front and 2 recessed light bar cubes in the rear bumper

-Tom woods custom front and rear driveshafts

-Transfer case rebuild as well as a Tom woods slip yoke eliminator

-New tie rod ends & remanufactured steering box and power steering hoses

-front and rear differentials rebuilt, bearings & seals

-Replaced plugs and coils, cam and crankshaft sensors

-New Dynomax exhaust

-Rusty's air intake with air-aid cone filter & new PCV fittings

-New front axle U joints and ABS rings

-Valve cover gasket, oil filter O-ring and oil pan gasket

-All four wheel bearings replaced

-Recent front pads and rotors, rear brakes have approximately 10k on them

-New floor mats front & rear (not pictured in photos so you can see the carpets)

-Higher end Sony Bluetooth radio

-5.25 inch kicker speakers in the front doors and rear sound panel

-10 inch kicker subwoofer with a 400 watt Kenwood amp, in a custom made ported subwoofer box with storage area.

-Interior led dome and map lights, & ice blue footwell lights

-Rampage H4 halogen headlight conversion

-Stubby antenna

-Replaced headliner

-Bluetooth led rock lights

My son loves this jeep but needs a truck now and has to part with it.

Now the bad: Many oil leaks have been repaired but it still has a minor leak that leaves spots where it is parked, I have been told that this is a jeep thing that is to be expected.

We have to have the AC topped off every summer and the HVAC fan has a very intermittent situation where it will not come on then starts working and is fine for weeks/months. It has never stopped long enough to get it checked out to see what it is.

The drivers seat has some tears in the side (see photos).

This is being driven daily and is reliable; it has not been taken off roading, street driving only.

It is being sold as is with no warranties.
