JEEP CJ7 FIBERGLASS, FUEL INJECTED AND SITTING ON DANA 44S
1981 Jeep CJ Description
1981 Jeep CJ7. It has the awesome 4.2 inline 6 cyl. with aftermarket fuel injection installed (not sure what kind as I didn't install but looks to be a GM style throttle body set up), A smooth shifting 4 speed transmission. Dana 300 transfer case and Dana 44 rears with 4.10 gears out of a 79 scout with front disc brakes and lockouts. P/S and power Brakes. Lots of new parts in last 4 months including Complete rebuilt rear end drum to drum with all new parts including carrier, gears and USA alloy axles. Everything including drums and studs. New brakes all the way around with braided stainless hoses. Complete new exhaust. Brand new Rampage Soft top.New Ion alloy rims and 35" Pro comp tires, Looks to be 4" lift and newer shocks. New fender flares Custom front and rear bumpers and custom driveshafts, custom greasable shackles and poly suspension bushings. new 12000 lb badlands winch and cover. New Pioneer stereo Mounted in lockable Tuffy console and new box speakers, Newer Optima yellow top battery, Smittybilt front seats and new front seat belts. Recent tune up and all fluids changed. and probably a few more things I am forgetting.
Jeep also has a full fiberglass tub and window frame. Frame is overall pretty solid. Does have couple spots up by front under radiator on inside frame (pictured) Look worse then what it is but worth mentioning. Probably 3 " long or so. it Also has small hole in front of hood( pictured) Runs and drives stop and steers good. Passed Modified state inspection without any issues. Mechanically she seems real sound. Probably need a clutch in future. Doesn't slip or anything but clutch pedal engages close to floor. All the lights, heater, wipers, etc. seem to work like they should with exception of temp gauge. Not perfect or show queen and could still use a some love but pretty solid ole jeep with lots of work already done and lots of potential.
Originally bought for wife and she doesn't like driving the manual transmission so put her in my K5 Blazer and looking to sell....at a loss. I am not a Jeep guy so gonna take $ and go buy me a truck.. Think it has like 96,000 on odometer and goes up as it is still daily driven... Its summertime :) Once it gets bids I will park it and get ready for new owner. COULD BE YOU!!
Shipping is up to you. I would recommendtrailering if you live a ways away. I drove home 100 miles and did OK but it is a lifted Jeep with 4.10 gears. Went down road as it should but again it is 36 years old and anything could happen plus it wouldn't be legal in your name. Up to you. Happy to help with your shipper anyway I can to be availablefor loading.
