2009 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Description

Thank you for looking, I am the original owner of this 2009 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and I have taken great care with pride of ownership since new. I always have been a power enthusiast ever since owning my first car, a beautiful 1969 Camaro with a small block 327 performance motor. With that being said, I knew the wrangler had a stigma of being underpowered from the factory but I had always loved the versatility, design, and overall "cool" factor that the wrangler offered. So after a number of years of somewhat sluggish performance, I decided it was time for the upgrade. After much research and consideration I landed on the design and installation of the vehicle you see here. The reason I decided to go with the (Chevrolet corvette LS3) vs the typical hemi conversion was mainly two fold. (Power-performance to weight ratio, & a much better fit) If I had chosen the popular Hemi conversion I would have had to do a modification to the engine compartment and firewall due to the engine positioning, which I was naturally reluctant to due as structural integrity was a concern for me. Yes, this installation did have its own set of challenges but we were determined to and were able to achieve a proper build. If you are in the market, I have done the research, put in the sweat equity, and will save you at least 30K off of a comparable build. Just to let you know, I love this jeep and reluctant to part with it. However, I have recently taken a job that requires significant travel which is the reason for this sale.
