2003 Jeep Cherokee Lardeo Description

Up for auction is our longtime family vacation vehicle. We bought this vehicle with 17k miles on the odometer and we have enjoyed it ever since. Now it has 196,760 miles and it is finally time to give it a third owner.
When purchasing a used car I do not like any surprises, so we will tell you all we know about this vehicle. Wedo not want a disgruntled buyer. We want the new owner to be happy with the purchase.
This vehicle has never been off-road. After a few years of normal commuting, it was used for short trip and vacations. It has been used sparingly the last few years as we have four vehicles for two people. The plates are now due and we want to free up some driveway space. It's just time.
We had this vehicle so long that we were able to lose the original title! In 2016, the title was replaced with a duplicate issued by the state of Illinois. The title is clear.
Okay, here comes the info we can give:
Engine - starts right up even after sitting for awhile. Oil was changed every 5000 miles and is now due. No leaks of any kind - oil or antifreeze. It does not smoke or burn oil. The six cylinder, 4.0L is quiet (no knocks) and still has much power. It doesn't hiccup or hesitate. The battery is one year old. It does not overheat or run hot.
Transmission - Shifts well without hesitation. It was rebuilt at the 172,231 mile mark.
Brakes - Front and back drums androars with pads replaced May, 2016. Working well.
Exhaust - Tailpipe replaced May, 2015. No loudness from the exhaust.
Suspension - Front upper and lower ball joints replaced September, 2014. There is now a very noticeable wobble when we get up to about 65 MPH, but it isn't always there - just sometimes. So, we drive around 60 MPH.
The above mentioned repairs we have receipts to verify. The radiator and thermostat were replaced about three years ago, but we cannot find that receipt.
4x4 works great - no issues. The transfer case has never been touched.
The A/C blows very cold and the heater works as it should.
The tires are about 40% tread remaining - holding air.
There is a hitch installed, but we never hauled anything heavy.
Cosmetically, there is some rust to the front of both rear wheel wells. Also, the hood has rust on the front lip and that piece of red tape on the hood is covering a hole. Thehood has a dent on the right side from a tire that was bouncing down the road when my daughter was driving the Jeep. Other than that, no dents. The interior has some stains in the cargo area. The cloth seat fabric has no rips - there are a few small stain spots. I vacuumed, but was not able to get all the dog hair out.
Here is what else works without issue:
power steering, driver side power seat, power windows except for passenger front, power door locks except for passenger front, All lights - headlights, taillights, turn signals, brake lights and dome lights, cruise control, all dash gauges, all wipers, radio and cd player, clock, overhead outside temp and compass indicator, vanity lighting. Windshield washer pumps, trailer lighting works.
Here is what does not work:
The horn, front passenger window is off the track and supported by a 2x4 I placed in there years ago. The door lock stopped working at that time, but we live in the country and never cared about that. The right taillight has a quarter size hole in the lens. The plastic headlight covers have that typicaldiscoloration. The plastic lever on the hood release broke years ago, so we just grab the cable with pliers and give it a slight tug to pop the hood. The hood does not stay up due to worn hood struts. The hatchback struts are good. There are a couple scratches on the driver side of the windshield - we don't notice them much anymore. The rear and passenger wipers work, but need new rubber.
Okay, that is about it. The Jeep starts and runs well. It is very dependable - the only issue right now is the intermittent vibration around 65 mph. Since the ball joints were done recently this may be corrected by just replacing the struts.
We tried to include everything we could think of, but feel free to ask questions. No reserve.
