UP FOR AUCTION: 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport with 276,369 miles on it - *(Well maintained over the years with pride). **The Head Gasket blew on July 24th, 2017. The Jeep ran like a champ until that day. **Currently, Jeep STILL STARTS UP AND SOUNDS GREAT!! No knocking, ticking or rattling...Just a nice & strong Jeep's HUMMMMM!!
(NOT RECOMMENDED TO DRIVE UNTIL HEAD GASKET IS REPAIRED, Jeep will over heat if driven in current condition). I'm selling Jeep in hopes that someone with the time to dedicate & money to invest will get the motor back in tip-top shape again. Other than the blown head gasket, the Jeep is mechanically sound. Cosmetic flaws include a few dings & dents on the body here and there plus a nice paint job is needed. Water leaks on jeep's passenger seat a little & soaks front edge of headliner during periodic heavy rain storms, may just need some sealant on upper portion of windshield where it meets roof of vehicle. Also, the rear hydraulic lift door no longer stays up on it's own. It must be propped open with a sturdy cardboard tube that I will include with Jeep. I keep it in the rear portion of vehicle where the spare tire is located.
**Overall, it's a solid, great and dependable vehicle. Very mechanically sound, other than blown head gasket issue. Non-Smoker / Non-Pet Owned Vehicle.

**PLEASE READ IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING STARTING VEHICLE: Jeep still cranks and starts up great. *(Jeep starts with a "Push Button" starting mechanism due to a failed Neutral Safety Switch). It works by turning the ignition in the "ON" position, then simply "PUSH THE START BUTTON". (See photos)... the push button start mechanism is hanging down, underneath steering wheel.

RECENT RANDOM REPAIR JOBS AND MAINTENANCE UPKEEP:

• I changed oil every 3 months
• 2 tires on jeep has great tread, yet the other 2 needs replacing soon
• Headliner replaced in 2015
• Water Pump replaced in 2015
• Latest battery replaced in 2016
• Driver Side head light replaced in 2016
• Lower transmission cooler line replaced in 2016, along with fresh transmission fluid
• Alternator replaced in 2016
• Front brake pads, Rear brake shoes, Rear brake drums, Rear wheel cylinders and Rear brake hardware kit replaced in 2016
• Upper & Lower Radiator hoses replaced in 2016, along with fresh coolant
• Crankshaft position sensor, spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap, ignition rotor button, fuel pump, fuel pump strainer, fuel filter and ignition coil was replaced in 2016
• Starter replaced in 2016
• Push Button Starter Switch and gauge wire installed in 2016 as a work around for a failed neutral safety switch. The ignition must be in the "ON" position in order for the Starter Button to properly start Jeep.
• Radiator, radiator cap, thermostat and the thermostat housing gasket was replaced in 2016
