1983 Jeep CJ7 Description

1983 Jeep CJ7 Mudding jeep or Rock Crawler . Chevy 383 stroker engine. Dana 44 front axle with
Detroit locker and 4:56 gears. 14 Bolt Corp rear axle with Detroit locker and 4:56 gears. Dana 300
transfer case and stock 4 speed trans. Built this with a buddy of mine years ago and i bought it back
for a toy. Planned on taking it to Louisiana mud fest this year but didn't make it. Runs like a raped ape
plenty of power could use new front drive shaft has play. Haven't driven it on road always been
trailered to the trails. Plates are on it so my village won't give me a ticket for a unregistered vehicle in
my driveway. Has a set of 36" H1 hummer wheels and tires on it. When my buddy had it it had 40"
on it. Good toy to start with or make this one the way u want it . Floor pans have been patched and
diamond plate is over every where else. Body tub has been replaced at one time vin plate doesn't
match. Didn't really care because it was a trail machine. Have too many toys have to part with some.
