1979 JEEP WRANGLER CJ7
1979 Jeep Wrangler Description
Always in California, no rust, Blue California plated, very original condition. From what I was told it's been in the same family all its life, I bought from the son of the person who bought it new so two or three owners. It's a solid and great example of a classic Jeep. VIN Decoder says it's the heavier model probably due to heavy duty springs. Here is the list of new items within the last month or two;
-New master cylinder and rear brakes.-4 new Yokohama tires.-New power steering box.-New Flex plate.-New starter.-Transmission service.-Side steps from an 84 CJ-7
Last owner installed the full cage a Warn Winch 2 inch lift, Tuffy lockable center box, and had the floor Rhino Coated.
It drives nice and solid, three speed Transmission is smooth and the engine is very strong. All the lights work, inside and outside. Only thing not working is the Speedometer I will include a Speedometer from an 84 CJ-7 Odometer works and show over 25K but probably has over 125K miles. As you can see in the photos it comes with soft top the metal framing is included also ( not pictured.)The Jeep has an older repaint with fading on the hood and right front fender's paint cracking so that fender needs to be repainted or the entire Jeep due to old paint but none of that has bothered me. In all it's a very solid good looking and intact CJ-7 for its age.
