2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited Description

For sale is our 2008 Wrangler Sahara 6 speed in great condition, great looking, and great running. We've owned it for nearly three years and put about 60K miles during that time mostly commuting on the freeway (never offroad). We bought a 7 seat SUV to replace this Jeep so at this point it's an extra vehicle in our driveway. This is a hard top (no soft top comes with it). Clean title in hand. This one has the optional side airbags!

Here are some more details...

· All maintenance is up to date with a tune up and all fluids

· Always use good synthetic blend oil and only with the best Napa Gold (Wix) filters.

· No accidents or repaint. I read Carfax before we bought it and there were no accidents.

· The Falken AT3W tires are almost NEW with only about 5K miles on them.

· All power options and buttons work as they should and AC is ice cold, heat is hot.

· The clutch was done by the dealer when we bought it so it's got many years of driving left on it, as was the T/O and pilot bearing that came with the clutch kit.

· Brakes are recent all around.

· Some very tasteful upgrades including SRC front bumper (can accept winch).

· Hella Black Magic fogs (with covers).

· LED headlights (Peterson). These are not cheapo Chinese lights. I paid nearly $500 and include the proper harness. They light up the road so much better!

· Windshield LED lights (wires run into engine compartment but not finished wiring). One has a bit of condensation creeping in.

· 2016 clear turn signals in the grill.

· Inside are a Daystar panel above the radio which is a perfect place to set a mobile phone and white matching shift knobs (they were pricey but feel way better than stock!). Also Rugged Ridge mats front/rear.

· Factory trailer hitch. With this package comes the 3.73 low gear axle ratio. If you don't know why that's useful, it means that the Jeep will accelerate better than the average Wrangler if you want to put bigger tires. It will handle them with more ease and not feel so under powered with the bigger tires. Most Sahara's have highway gears.

· I have 2 sets of keys, original owner's manual and window sticker.

The buyer should also know that being a 9 year old vehicle there is normal wear and are a few minor things to be aware of. Never abused, owned by adults, driven by adults. If you are interested and local, I encourage you to come check it out in person. You're welcome to take it to your mechanic first, etc. It's a nice ride. Listed here are any issues I am aware of and have also provided some pics:

· *Some minor scratches here and there, not really noticeable. It's a used vehicle after all. I've included a pic of the one main ding but it's where the hardtop meets the body over the fuel filler and hardly noticeable.

· *I had fixed a very small chip in the bottom of the windshield. My insurance company filled it. You can still see it a bit but it's low and not seen while driving.

· *Minor oil leak from oil pan gasket.

· * There is a small tear on the driver seat bolster under the very nice seat covers.

· *Tire pressure light is on. The wheels do have the pressure transmitters installed. Maybe one needs to be reprogrammed?

I think that I priced the Jeep very fairly seeing as how it's in great shape, well maintained, new tires, tasteful upgrades, etc. and it looks freaking awesome, as good as any 2016 out on the road in my opinion. I always wanted to do a lift but maybe the next owner will. This Jeep is solid and has always been dependable and reliable.

Legal stuff...

It's advertised locally as well so I can potentially end the auction early.

The winning bidder/buyer will pay a $500 (non-refundable) deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction via PayPal. The balance must be paid in full by the buyer to the seller with Cash or a Cashier's Check .The Jeep will be released and signed over to the buyer upon the balance of the funds clearing the bank or cash transfer. I have the title.

If you want to arrange a transport company to pick up the Jeep, this is your responsibility as well as the responsibility of the transport company to actually drive the Jeep onto their truck. Please note, Jeep must be picked up within 7 days of the end of the auction.

Thanks!
