Description
Exterior/MechanicalI've got my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport up for sale. This Jeep is in good working order and has served me well for the past 9 months, however, with college coming I need something with better fuel economy. Overall this is an excellentunadulteratedJeep Cherokeewith minimum rust, which is a common issue on many of these Jeeps. There is some rust on the driver's and passenger'sfloorpans, however, it is not severe. Some rust has been repaired along the roofline and treated on the backsides of the rear quarter panels, none of which is visible. The Cherokee is equippedwith the 4.0 Inline 6 enginewhich produces ample power and an automatic transmission. The enginehas an oil leak which is stillminimal (caused by either a leaking valve cover or oil pan) however, I have not lost enough oil between changes to require topping it off. The Jeep will also come with a brand new windshield. The tailgate has a dent on the passenger side, and the place where the front and rear doors join on the passenger side also has a dent at the very bottom, which is not noticeable unless you're looking for it. I'veincluded photos of all of these areas of the exterior.
InteriorThe interior is in good condition with a new headliner, cleancomfortableseats (which I have no problems fitting in at 6'1") and three of the four originalfloormats (it's missing one of the rear ones). There was a leak which has left a waterline about 2 inches from the windshield on the headliner, however, you have to look for it to spot it and it is mostly coveredby the visors. The interior is also free of smells and tears in the vinyl, except for the top of the rear seat which was damagedwhile being folded flat. The Jeep is equippedwith air conditioning, however, it is non-functional and I have not had any work or inspections done on the system. The vehicle's radio also has a cracked display which does not affect the functionality of it.

I try to accurately and fairly describe any known mechanical or cosmetic issues. However, as with any vehicle, mechanical or other failures may occur from time to time, and I cannot represent or warranty that they will not. You are responsible for any repairs made after the sale.

1.3. Mileage May Vary Slightly.I have indicated the mileage of the vehicle at the time of listing. Please note that actual mileage may be slightly higher at the time of the end of the auction and/or delivery as the vehicle may be driven while the auction is underway.

2.Bidding on the Vehicle

2.1. Ready to Bid?If you're ready to bid, great! Please keep in mind a few requirements and courtesies. Please intend to, and be ready & able to (financially and otherwise), complete the purchase of the vehicle within the timeframes set out herein. Participating just for sport without the intention to complete the transaction is unfair to me and to other users, and it wastes a lot of time and money. I may obtain the registered information of users participating in my auctions, and may filter or cancel any bids in my discretion.

2.2. I May End An Auction Early."Buy it now" auctions may end at any time if the buy it now feature is exercised or a "best offer" is accepted. I seldom end "no reserve" auctions early. However, I reserve the right to end any auction without notice at any time for any reason in my sole discretion.

3.Completing the Transaction

3.1. Contact Me.If you are the winning bidder, congratulations! You must contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements for the completion of the transaction. Many of my auctions end well after normal business hours, so sending me a message through eBay is generally the best way.

3.2. Pay a Deposit.You must also pay anon-refundable$500.00 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours after the end of the auction to secure the vehicle.

3.3. Pay the Balance Due. You must pay the remaining balance due within 7 days after the end of the auction.

3.4. Payment Methods. I accept cashier's checks, and cash in person. I accept PayPal for the payment of deposits only. All funds must be in US dollars.

3.5. Fees and Taxes.

3.5.1.Taxes and Registration fees.I will provide you with the vehicle's title, and you will be responsible for handling the tag and title work in your state.

3.6. If You Fail to Pay or Communicate with Me.I expect the transaction to go smoothly. However, if you fail to (i) make contact with me, (ii) pay the deposit, or (iii) pay the remaining balance (including applicable fees, taxes, and charges), within the timeframes set forth herein, I reserve the right to keep your deposit and re-list the vehicle or otherwise sell it as I see fit, without notice, in my sole discretion. I also reserve the right to report the issue to eBay in my sole discretion.

4.Take Delivery of Your New Vehicle

4.1. Pick Up.I will provide you with the address in Springfield Mo, to complete the transaction and take delivery of the vehicle at the time in which I receive your Non-Refundable deposit.
