We have not 4wheeled this Jeep. We have only used it for around town driving. We have now purchased a pickup and are selling this to buy a car for my wife to go back and forth to work.
In 2004 1/2, Jeep introduced the Wrangler Unlimited (unofficially dubbed "LJ") with a 10-inch longer wheelbase (LWB), Dana 44 rear axle with a 3.73 gear ratio and the Command-Trac 231 transfer case. The Unlimited was only produced from 2004 - 2006. This model of the Jeep Wrangler has nearly double the towing capacity than its shorter wheelbase sibling, due to the increased wheelbase size.
