1981 Jeep Scrambler Scrambler Description
Jeep Scrambler with Baja abilities as well as highway driving. This is an extreme rebuild. It is powered by an AMC 4.2 Liter engine that has all new gaskets, seals, hoses and is freshly rebuilt.. The vehicle came original with power steering and front disc brakes. It sports new paint in the most familiar color of red with orange highlights. Riding on a new TDK box frame with a new 4" reverse shackle lift kit, this CJ sports new 35" Nitto Dune Grapplers with 17" ION polished/black wheels. Supporting this lift kit are new Zone Off Road nitro shocks that are painted to match the Jeeps color scheme. Attached to the frame is a Rockhard bumper with a Smittybilt XRC 9,500lbs winch, side nerf bars and D-rings. The undercarriage and running gear is totally rebuilt and everything is new including all steering components, front disc brake and caliper assembly, rear drum brake assembly and new exhaust. Other components are 4-wheel alignment, gears, bearings, universal joints and balanced driveshafts. The transfer case allows for individual axle control. Interior features are a bikini top, element doors, new seats, ACC molded flooring and a Rhino bedliner. Other extras are a Jerry gas can, all terrain fender flare set, windshield LED light bar as well as front bumper LED lights. This vehicle has great looks and extreme dependability. Rear seat recently added.
