1986 Jeep Wagoneer Description

For sale is a 1986 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. This truck was garage kept in South Carolina by the original owner, a mechanic, since he purchased it new in 1986. I bought the car fall of 2015 and kept it in the garage all winter (no exposure to salt). I am moving 25 minutes from my work and don't want to put the miles on this beauty. This is why I am selling.
Title in hand.
This is the dark blue exterior, honey interior. This has all the factory options except for the sunroof. 8 cylinder, 4wd.
I have the original bill of sale, window sticker, owner's manual, etc. I even have the factory build order for the factory in Toledo. Too much to list. This car has a great history.
The car runs great, no mechanical issues that I am aware of. My father-in-law is a mechanic and replaced most of the hoses/belts. We put a new alternator on it recently. The tires have life in them, new starter a couple years ago, brakes are good as well. Engine is strong, no ticks, no knocks. Transmission doesn't slip.
The exterior is beautiful for its age. It has original paint, original vinyl. They are in great shape for their age. The vinyl is starting to peel a little, the paint has a ding here and there... but it has been kept in a garage all its life and you can tell. Wagoneers usually have faded paint/vinyl. There is very little of that here. I have the original covers for the fog lights, they are brand new, even though they are over 30 years old! There is a little ding in the back right, see picture - very small!
The interior is in great shape. The leather seats have no tears, the carpet is in great shape, all the gauges work. The gas tank was replaced at some point and the gas light sometimes comes on when it shouldn't -- no big deal. The floor mats are original and could be replaced, especially the drivers side. The radio works great, the speakers have been replaced as the old speakers were rotted. I may still have the original speakers if the buyer wants them. The interior is beautiful. The headliner isn't as smooth as it used to be, but it is not falling down. Again, in great shape for the age of the car.
One of the doors doesn't unlock with the power switch (it does lock), so you have the push it down. All other electronics work. You have to give it gas when it starts (normal for cars this age) and it runs much better if you let it warm up when cold outside (again, normal). Cruise control works.
AC is COLD, Heater is HOT. It has trailor breaking system installed.
No rust issues that I am aware of, but please come look for yourself. It has NEVER been in salt/snow. Always in SC where it doesn't snow and in OH, it was in the garage the one winter it lived here.
Take a look at the pictures! I can send more if requested. I have over 50 pictures.
This is listed for sale locally, so it may end at any time.
