Quick update as of 9/20. I took the truck off the market to make some very nice upgrades. We swapped out the steel wheels for newer boost wheels and BFG Mud Terrain tires. I acquired a 1993 NAS 110 parts truck and had the roll cage removed, disassembled, sand blasted and then freshly power coated. Looks like it is brand new and really completes the look of the truck. Finally, I had a brand new factory AC kit installed. It blows incredibly cold and is a great upgrade in these trucks. This 110 is one of the nicest on the road and will not disappoint.
Here is a beautiful, true frame off restoration of a 1987 left hand drive Defender 110. Started with a solid donor from a 1987 left hand drive 110 with an original 3.5 V8 and manual transmission was replaced with a rebuilt, powerful 4.6 liter V8 motor with auto transmission. All new head gaskets with a new bosh block and high compression pistons installed. Truck was stripped down to the frame and sanded and coated. Interior completely and professionally bed lined for long term protection. New bulk head and take off doors, exmoor seating, wheels and tires installed. Alpine white paint professionally carried out and looks sharp. Frame and cross member solid as can be. No rust anywhere. New exhaust, fan clutch and O2 sensors. All new VDO gauges installed all work flawlessly. All lights and switches work as they should. Truck is stunning in person and drives incredibly.
